Not forever, I guess? It's just this year, isn't it? |

Think it was only this year since it was outside competition and not during competition. |

Crue..this is long time rumour here that he is gonna leave quistep..one option was Tinkoff-Katyusha.
About Steegmans isso is correct...he is trained to be lead out man..has no prepeared for final kick. But some team mate on his back wheel..then he gonna start winning.
like with Boonen who had several time difficulty pass him has he was he's lead out man. |

Also at most of the situations Steegmans found himself in a good posistion the sprint was downhill or the flat men like Cavendish had the advantage. Steegmans needs a slight uphill. |

Mike can feel a little less of an idiot right about now (thanks to Jolly for the heads up)
Contrary to previous reports, Italian Filippo Pozzato has not finalised his contract with the newly formed Team Katusha. The 26 year-old cyclist explained Saturday morning at the Tour de France that he is reviewing the Russian team's contract offer, but has yet to ink the deal.
"I need to look over everything well now. Everyone is saying that I have already signed. I have not signed anything," Pozzato said to Cyclingnews.
The winner of the 2006 Milano-Sanremo will leave his current team, Liquigas, by the end of the season. He previously linked himself to the Katusha team during an interview with Rai television.
"I have to see that it is the right choice. There is a great chance, but the signature is not there – it is ninety percent there." The Katusha squad has not announced a new contract and the team's general manager, Stefano Feltrin, confirmed that the team would make an official announcement September 1.
Another name linked with Katusha is Belgium's Gert Steegmans. He and Pozzato would help create a formidable one-day race team. "My focus will be the Classics and I will try to be at my best there," said Steegmans.
also, as I said a few days ago, Riis answered questions about Pozzato with "I'd sign him....if I had the budget..."

Well, due to the TdF-win Riis will have an increased budget, so that might help him.
Anyway, thanks for that - I'm not a complete idiot yet then |

Plus he still needs to put his pen to a new contract - and being a Tour de France winner obviously makes such a contract more worth |
