No, Cyanide did not do it. At least not in the OfficialRelease of the game or the patch. I do not understand what you are trying to explain. I tested and analysed all DBs which are around and I can definitely say that the DB-maker is responsible for the ending of the contract. It has to be set in the DYN_contract_cyclist. It has nothing to do with cyandide or the PCM.exe program. |

The database that Cyanide released with the game - all riders aged over 30, their contracts ended after the first season.
In all databases released so far, no-one has changed what Cyanide have done.

In all databases released so far, no-one has changed what Cyanide have done. I say it the last time. Not every DB is acting like this, I have tested it. It is true, that many DB builders use dankans RealName DB and it is also true, that in these DBs all contracts of riders over 30 end after the first season. But this is ONLY related to the first RealName DB from Dankans and has nothing do to with Cyanide.
The facts:
- It kills the career because at the end of the first season, many leaders will change the team.
- A DB maker can change it.

Lachi is right, i tested it a few days before with cyanide´s officialrelease. There is no problem with the contracts of the cyclists. |

All I know is what I saw with the cyanide DB both from the original download version and from the patch: the only riders with expiring contracts were over 30 (that does NOT mean that all over 30 had expiring contracts)

I have seriously problems with this DB beacuse i cant get it in to the game.
i have done this:
1. Uninstall PCM
2. Delete the C:/Program Files/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2008 folder
3. Delete the My Documents/Pro Cycling Manager 2008 folder
4. Delete the Pro Cycling Manager 2008 folder in AppData (to find Appdata, type %appdata% into Run...)
5. Install PCM
6. Install the lastest patch
7. Install the db.
And still it doesnt work!!
What is wrong? |

did you install the DB the rigth way --> extract it in programfiles/cyanide/pcm2008?
and did you empty your cache after installing the db? maybe that's it... else I wouldnt know it either. |

It doesnt work to unpack the map into the PCM08 map , so i just unpack it into my deskboard and from there i drag over the maps into the PCM08 map and overwrites it. |
