Laid the groundworks on stage 3 and cruised to victory on stage 4! Congrats on the win! Hopefully the big teams are lined up with contract offers soon Where do you see Aram going next? Hoping for a World Tour team or to develop more in a Continental/Pro-Conti team?

I was too excited about Aram's win to realise he was already signed...
Anyway, congratulations on the new contract. Sounds like a good stepping stone to bigger teams!

31/7 Nürburgring
After his success in Portugal, and having signed with the new team, you would expect Aram to be relaxed, but he was the opposite. He was feeling uneasy by the pressure of starting on a new team, where he would definitely have to relocate to another country, maybe even as far as US.
Also suddenly he was seen as some kind of captain, everyone on team Trefor was expecting him to make results, during the last months with the team. He was not sleeping well, and his training result was bad. After some time in misery Aram talked to the team leadership, and was allowed some days of, going home to the family trying to reload the batteries, he was staying with Jaleh and Hamid, Aram’s parents Amin and Lisbeth would not be back for another 3 month.
Rad am Ring 178 km (1.1)
Adam was appointed captain in Rad am Ring, but he soon found that it was only to be pro forma. No one would sit close to him, and the only one who was getting any protection was Daniel Foder, having Kasper Asgreen in front of him from early in the race. Even Mads (Würtz) who would normally be his friend kept some distance.
Was he just getting paranoid, seeing ghost or did the team not wish for him to get results ? He got the supplies he needed, he would make the best of it. With riders like Ten Dam, Visconti, Izagirre, there was not much hope for a good result anyway.
He did not have good legs, was mentally and physically tired, but he was was the only one from the team to get to the line in the first group, some 30 riders.
Silvio Herklotz from Bora won the race.
Aram was not the puncher, at least not at this level of competition, and had nothing left for the final, he ended 23th.

A bit of friction can be expected now that Aram has decided to switch teams. He did well though, given the field.

12/8 Thon hotel, Alta
8 PM and just 10 degrees Celsius, dropping to 6 during the night. Was rather cold in Alta even this time a year, but a fine night never the less. They was staying at Thon hotel, an OK but uninteresting place.
After Nürburg, Aram had some days on this own in Copenhagen and for the first time in a year he had some beers with John at Nyhavn, sitting there in the sun, a good day, loads of people, he forgot all the pressure and got quite drunk.
The first two days of Arctic race of Norway had been quite good, the first day had a profile with some harder climbs. The early break was not far ahead when Aram attacked on the category 1, he easily caught the break and took the KoM points on both climbs.
The 2nd day was more a directly hilly route and his lack of punch made him suffer a lot on the many small but potent ups and downs, he lost 8 minutes on the stage, but with only two cat 3 climbs he was in a clear KoM lead.
Tired form a long cold rainy day Aram would hit the sheets early tonight, another two hard stages to come and he would do everything to keep that jersey.
