Again, Denmark just hasn't been good at these Olympics. We still have a few medal chances here and there, but ..
Nah, I shouldn't laugh, Sweden isn't even there. Was beaten by Poland in the qualification
No good olympics for scandinavia in general so far, except maybe Norway. |

Our big hopes haven't competed yet. We have Stefan Nystrand in 100m, 50m swimming, Stefan Holm high jump, Susanna Kallur 100m hurdels for example left.......expected medals so far was 0 to be honest |

5th place, but really, the man has been falling apart for weeks. He's been to nervous, couldn't handle the pressure, so still no medal hope for me |

Wonder if the doping control was just as big in Olympics as it is in Cycling. How many would be caught |

Plus a silver in the canoeing
Going good for Team GB, not sure whether we'll reach the targets, but we're looking better - and looking good for 2012

well, there are a couple of thousand controls and one greek athlete and a spanish female cyclist are caugth so far. Also, when the dutch baseball team where having a practice match against Canada today(or yesterday, not sure) the doping controllers just got in the field, and stopped the match because they wanted to control some dutch baseball players eventually they waitid untill the match was finished |

Only the stupid and the one without money would be caught
There are some substances that can "eat" the EPO and when you are having a wee (I hope thats the good word for having a piss) at the controls , the control will be negative
Angel Heredia , was interviewed by "Der Spiegel" a very good magazine in Germany that aren´t blokes (idiots) like Bild (Pretty similar to the Sun I think) , he said that there are about 20 substances that are doping , but can´t be found
And at least :
ANOTHER RIDING GOLD MEDAL

Are here also Gold , Silver and Bronze Bananas? |

the 2 current widespread drugs of choice are HGH and autologous drug transfusions. Both are 100% undetectable. HGH will be detectable next season. Still, 99% of the effect are the drug transfusions and most of the EPO that still can't be effectively detected.

Phelps has, as I write this, 5 gold medals in 5 tries in Beijing, and 11 gold medals in his olympic career, two more than anyone else in history. He is, with no debate possible, the greatest swimmer and possibly athlete in the world. So all I can say is USA! USA! USA! |
