Alright, a new method of keeping a forum tally is by adding the time for each race together, and the rider with the shortest time at the end of the year wins.
In the event of abandoning, a rider will take the last rider's time.
Bonuses will work as follows (position in overall race):

T2/C2:
1. - 60"
2. - 30"
3. - 10"
U25/Points/KOM. - 50"

C1/T1:
1. -120"
2. -100"
3. -60"
4. - 30"
5. -10"
U25/Points/KOM. - 100"

GT:
1. - 5 minutes
2. - 3 minutes
3. - 2 minutes
4. - 1 minute
5. - 50"
6. - 45"
7. - 30"
8. - 20"
9. - 10"
10. - 5"
U25/Points/KOM. - 4 minutes

Any Stage (T1/T2/GT):
1. - 20"
2. - 10"
3. - 5"

Harsh points bonuses, but the work I would need to do would be huge if I gave out more points bonuses.
I'll give you the new rankings later, possibly tomorrow.

SportingNonsense
Are those just for the ranks of the PCMdaily riders? Its a very interesting idea to do time bonuses!

Nice update. looking forward to California where I hopefully shine.

Crommy
Yep, a mini forum league in conjunction with the overall ProTour
emoticons4u.com/happy/042.gif

SportingNonsense
Im guessing that the forum league will begin at California?

Crommy
No, I should be able to add up all the times so far and publish a rankings table Grin
emoticons4u.com/happy/042.gif

Crommy
Ok, my forum system is way too complicated.
It will now just be points on where you cross the line for each stage and your overall classification, ranking yourself ONLY against over forumers. There are 17 of us, so the points work out as follows:

1. 160
2. 150
3. 140
4. 130
5. 120

Tour of California

Welcome to sunny America for round three of the CFP. With a mixture of time trial's and hilly stages, the field is quite open, with no clear favourites.

Stage 1 ITT
This very short time trial gave 10 riders the same time, but Stefan Schumacher was awarded the win. A solid ride by Albert Rasmussen made him the first leader of the forum competition.
1 Stefan Schumacher GEROLSTEINER 6'31
2 Oscar Pereiro CAISSE D'EPARGNE - ILLES BALEARS s.t.
3 Jan Ullrich T-MOBILE TEAM s.t.
30 Albert Rasmussen DISCOVERY CHANNEL s.t.

Stage 2
1 Tom Boonen QUICKSTEP - INNERGETIC 2h53'26
2 Allan Davis ASTANA TEAM s.t.
3 Daniele Bennati LAMPRE - FONDITAL s.t.
20 Marc John RAPHA CONDOR s.t.

Stage 3
Both Joshua Crompton and Albert Rasmussen were involved in breaks today, but their inexperience told as they were caught and went straight out of the back. Vino attacked on the final climb and held off the chasers for the stage win whilst the forumers struggled as they were forced to pace set.
1 Alexandre Vinokourov ASTANA TEAM 3h29'02
2 Stefan Schumacher GEROLSTEINER + 44
3 George Hincapie DISCOVERY CHANNEL s.t.
44 Matt Booth CAISSE D'EPARGNE - ILLES BALEARS + 2'34

Stage 4
The second time tiral, and Jan Ullrich rode phoenomenally, but wasn't good enough to knock Vino off of top spot. Matt Booth was in great shape again, and now leads the forum riders.
1 Jan Ullrich T-MOBILE TEAM 32'32
2 Fabian Cancellara TEAM CSC + 31
3 Jens Voigt TEAM CSC + 40
4 Alexandre Vinokourov ASTANA TEAM + 48
37 Matt Booth CAISSE D'EPARGNE - ILLES BALEARS + 4'22

Stage 5
1 Daniele Bennati LAMPRE - FONDITAL 4h42'26
2 Heinrich Haussler GEROLSTEINER s.t.
3 Allan Davis ASTANA TEAM s.t.

Stage 6
A tough day today, many forum riders were dropped having chased hard. That's the life of the young neo-pro though. Matt Booth continues to dominate
1 Franco Pellizotti RAPHA CONDOR 4h07'30
2 Oscar Freire RABOBANK s.t.
3 Filippo Pozzato QUICKSTEP - INNERGETIC s.t.
17 Matt Booth CAISSE D'EPARGNE - ILLES BALEARS s.t.

Stage 7
Marc John closes in on the lead, but Matt Booth's lead in the general should see him crowned the first forum leader. However, a big shock occurred with a huge crash involving around 50 riders which forced Aslak Waage Jr and Bjorn Johnsen to withdraw, meaning they lose valuable points for the forum awards.
1 Oscar Freire RABOBANK 3h21'17
2 Tom Boonen QUICKSTEP - INNERGETIC s.t.
3 Heinrich Haussler GEROLSTEINER s.t.
18 Marc John RAPHA CONDOR s.t.

Stage 8
1 Oscar Freire RABOBANK 2h47'58
2 Tom Boonen QUICKSTEP - INNERGETIC s.t.
3 Daniele Bennati LAMPRE - FONDITAL s.t.

Polti
too bad that i'm 22. so the older are now better and because of that they get points at crommy award and get even better and the younger....loose constantly.

Crommy
don't worry, you'll soon catch up - you get a higher natural increase in points the younger you are Grin
emoticons4u.com/happy/042.gif

Polti
ah ok, thats fine. is the only split in age between 25 older/younger or are there more differences in the natural increase?

latarnik
hmmm nice nice Grin so what's next?? Smile

Crommy
The Omloop Het Volk is next!!!
