BMC Racing Team

To sum up what kind of force BMC is, they got Gilbert for the Ardennes, Van Avermaet for the cobble classics with strong support from Daniel Oss, a strong climber squad with Sanchez, Caruso and Atapuma, they got Van Garderen for the GC and at last Dennis/Phinney is among the best TT riders in the world.

The team also have a strong U23 team with talents across the board and generally all they need is width! I already have some plans for the transfer season and a guy like König, which can take more GC's together with Tejay is on the top of the list. I've tried to scatter the team in several directions and hopefully this will come out as an advantage.

Currently my only results are 5th in Tour down Under with Stetina, the GC spots 2-8 in Qatar (because of the TTT) and I've just won Vuelta a Murcia with Van Garderen. This season I will mainly be playing the Ardennes, P-N like stage races, GT's and the Cobble Classics.

first WT career in 4 years

Interesting, BMC is in my consideration too (along with Orica, Trek, and a few other unlikely choices).

Been doing some planning as well. I'd use Van Garderen in Giro and Vuelta. I feel like he wouldn't be able to compete with the likes of Froome, Contador, Quintana or Nibali when they are at their best anyways and like that he might even have a chance of winning both Giro and Vuelta. Not sure if that's true though.

Atapuma might be my man in the Tour (mininal TT!), aiming for the top 10.

Samuel Sanchez might regress soon so he'd be the main helper for the Giro.

Gilbert would be for the hilly Classics but I also want to try to win the Tour of the Basque Country (all hilly stages..), not sure if it's realistic.

I wouldn't know where I should aim with Phinney? Maybe make him a new Tony Martin or Cancellara?

After a lot of succesfull years as a manager for my own team, where I had Pinot and Kelderman as the two stars. I have managed to get to season 2019/2020, where now Kelderman have won 4 Giro, and was leading for his 5th, but crashed on stage 21 and broke his hand.. So that pissed me off. Instead Majka took the win (also one of mine) ..

In Tour De France I have managed to win with Pinot for his 4th conseccusive time, but this year there was drama to the last where Kwiatkowski finished 1(!!!) second behind. Kwiatkowski have managed to be nr. 2 for 3 years in a row now.

I dont know why, but Nairo Quintana have been placed outside of top 10, in all of the Tour De France, even though he have 84 in Climbing..

Playing on normal/hard in diffuculty.

If you can win Lombardia, L_B_L and Paris roubaix with Benoot, you should be able to win Sanremo as well.

Well done.

Another question on career mode: Where does the prize money go to? As in PCM 2013 it went to the riders (realistic I know but when I am playing the manager I want the money Smile).

thanks,

If I'm not mistaken, you receive prize money. Gameplay wise, it makes more sense.

I was playing on hard. I had problems with contract any good rider. I made a topic about it, but nobody respond. I try to do it with Kwiatkowski, Majka, Zakarin, Van Garderen, Talansky. I offered them more that they want, but they didn't came to me. This is my team for 2016 (image under). Goal is to stay in World Tour. I will look for the route of 1week races and try to get some points using Paterski and my new riders including this Italian TT specialist. With Hirt I will try to do my best on Giro and Vuelta. Shame that I don't have any good gregario in MO to help Hirt till the last climb. OF course I will try to gain some points with Gaviria and this norwegian sprinter.

I was thinking of starting a career. Can someone confirm whether they have "fixed" the riders stat evolution as I heard it was very very slow in career mode?

Thanks.

Where can you see how many WT points you are given for a TdF stage win?
Or can anyone tell me?

I have run a few test simulations, the development of riders seems alright. Not too slow nor too fast. It's not perfect but nothing that I could see them patching since it's not broken but of course there is room for improvement in the future. Also which sports game has the "perfect" regression/progression system.

Also some guys complained that riders of your own team would progress slower than the computer controlled ones. I tested that too, once checking the ratings of a CPU controlled MTN after a year and once when I controlled them, and it was very even btwn both sims. I used legendary coaches though and paid attention to the relationship of trainers and riders.

It's disturbing to see how unbalanced stat progression is, judging by above pic of the CCC career.
Sprinters with 78 sprint or 77 TT and <70 flat for example. It's ridiculous...

Kentaurus has just made his xml's for PCM15 found in the upcoming EP v1. Should slow down the progress of rider stats Wink

You mean Brateng and Miccolucci? Those aren't result of progression I think but are generated riders. They don't exist in real life I believe.

20 points. First five riders in a WT stage get points - 20, 10, 6, 4 and 2 in the TdF, 16, 8, 4, 2, 1 in Giro and Vuelta, 6, 4, 2, 1, 1 in the smaller stage races.

Thanks a lot Grin

Another question. I have gone through my first seasno with Lampre. I did okay, and I recieved a message saying thet my budget would be 475k pr. month for the next season. Problem is: I only recieve 412k (old budget). I opened the save with Lachis editor, and it said I would recieve the new budget.

I have finished my first season in PCM 15!

It was a custom team (at the beginning it was McDonald's, but now it's Bic) with Froome, Porte, Van Garderen, Matthews, Viviani, Thomas, Vandenbergh, the Yates, Arredondo, Frank, Kennaugh, Dowsett...

I have won Giro with Porte and I have been 3rd in TdF and 2nd in Vuelta with Froome. Also I managed to be 8th in the Worlds with Rowe.

Now, for the new season I have signed some monsters, such as Kwiatkowski, Alaphilippe, Talansky, De Vreese, Sénechal, Tsatevitch, Formolo or Reichenbach (and I have lost Thomas and Vandenbergh, for example)

You should be getting the new budget for the first time on the 31st of October, in time to pay the wages of your new squad. So check your finance page on the 1st of November.

My finance page says 412k - so the old budget.
