Im a huge Purito fan who want him to get a deserved GT win but do you enjoy him wasting energy?. What next Froome riding La Vuelta for KOTM?. Get outta here man. He would destroy Contador and Quintana at the Vuelta if he rode Poland and Eneco. He would be fresh and he is 35 so time is ticking
Purito will be fine man. He rode 8 stages without putting any sort of effort. Now he tries to put in an effort on two stages before the rest day. Big deal. He is just testing his legs, which is needed for him to get better towards the Vuelta.
Oh and btw. Froome will win the Vuelta.
Vuelta is not a cupcake to win. There will be Horner , Cobo and other oldies waiting for contract.
On serious note it will be brilliant I think. CONTADOR, FROOME, PURITO and VALVERDE will all be there.
How the hell do you win a cupcake?
Valverde is probably not going to pose a serious threat at the Vuelta imo. Being here at the Tour going for podium, and also wanting to go for the WC I doubt he will be able to do much interesting at the Vuelta. If he even goes.

I don't know, actually winning a stage if he doesn't win a stage (in a sprint most preferable) but wins the points jersey. I don't find it a worthy winner, it's for the fastest sprinter and Sagan hasn't shown that he's the fastest sprinter. (l ike both points jerseys of Hushovd)
U fukin wot m8? U r 1 cheeky kunt, I swear on me mums life, I swear I'm going to wreck u.
It's not a "sprinters" jersey, it's "point" jersey. It goes to whoever gets enough points. I you wanna make it a sprinters jersey, remove all intermediate sprints, or give it to the guy with the most stage wins.
It's like saying the yellow jersey is a "climbing jersey" and winning it due to timetrials doesn't make it a worthy win.
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

LOL, biggest bullshit i have read in the long time, so i hope you are trolling mate. Where is written that point competition is for the one-trick ponies?
something that you don't agree on, doesn't immediatly mean that the other is trolling. especially if you leave out half the post (making the post look out of context imo) and when I don't give completes post.
I'm serious, if Sagan doesn't win a stage I don't find him worthy of winning the points jersey, especially because in the sprints he only sits in Kittel's wheel and doesn't even try to win stages (at least from my impression)
Abandon King (Cannondale)
Do you feel the same way about the mountainsjersey? That if the rider winning the mountainsjersey haven't won a mountainstage, then he isn't a worthy winner?

EDIT Oioi, Tony Martin is unreal beast. Seriously. Unreal. He seems to be worth more than entire teams.

Should join up on the descent only 30 odd seconds down. Can I wish for Tony to have enough in the tank to start sprinting for mountain points too?
If there's another chicane at the top of the next one it might get a bit congested!

Kwiatkowski in the virtual yellow jersey. With that and the Voeckler/Purito this stage has already been great. |

For all we know, it could well have been Talansky who kicked him off his bike. He already did that to Machados teammate earlier.

yes green at first points jersey..
But even tour want to do it more and more as best sprinters jersey as they give up even more points at intermediate sprint.
And yes I was also mad when Thor won a green after protest about Cav. sprint when he "blocked" him. Cav. did it to give Hincapie extra seconds to have a yellow...beside Thor was never close thrue all tour to pass Cav. at one to one battle.
Bottom line: Green is points jersey..but most of the people like to see as best sprinter will wear it. |
