So glad that Greipel won today just to shut Carlton Kirby up on Eurosport who said he had gone off the boil |

We all knew it was going to happen at one point, very dominate win by Greipel and it was a shame for Kittel and Demare |

Purito has been losing time since Stage 1, he's only riding Tour for the race kilometers and later stage wins. I love my daily Purito, hanging around on the back of the peloton, not caring about anything at all.
If Purito doesnt give a shit why didnt Katusha bring a real leader? They have plenty of talent. |

I think Trofimov is going for GC I'm not sure though......

This is a good tdf for me with Greipel winning today and Nibali my favourite stage race rider with a comfortable lead. |

Who should they bring?
Moreno is burnt after Giro and will prepare for Vuelta, and Trofimov with Spilak are here. Caruso is not in great shape as proven in Austria. And I can't see any other riders in their team who could challenge for GC in TdF.
They also have Kristoff, who is probably their biggest star barring Rodriguez right now. I don't think they could do any better with their roster. Maybe they needed to hire one more good guy for this season, because they are supposed to be rather a rich team. |

That's a really short list, yeah. Fewer sprint mass crashes this year at least so far.

When watching on NBC Sports network tonight, I realized just how many commercial breaks there really are. Literally every 10 KM's there was one, and then with 25 KM to go he said they were going to take 1 more and then take us to the finish, but at 16KM to go they took another one!?
Also, I do like the commentators, Phil & Paul are actually entertaining to me by how much they get into it and there input of opinions, but thats just me.

The only real complaint about the NBC guys is that they are terrible at identifying riders. They do well on the mtn stages when they know all the names for sure.

Yeah, he looked shocked with Kittel suddenly stopping and he found himself boxed in the third row, from where he was almost unable to sprint.
Nice win for Gorilla, he is better without train...

that's because it's obvious who the main climbers from Team XYZ are
and they're travelling slow as too, so number identification is easy too
my main gripe with Phil and Paul is that they commentate as if only first-timers are watching,
but in this case, there a LOT of people watching purely because it's the TDF
*remembers being ridiculed because I called OGE winning the TTT last year after OPQS finished with BMC and Radioshack still on the road* |

Nice to see someone else win the bunch sprint (even though Kittel puctured).
Sagan actually also wrote Tour de France history yesterday, nobody has ever finished inside the top5 on the first 6 stages!

This was actually only a rumor.
Kittel said after the stage that he had no technical and the Giant train did just not work very well together as they lost each other.
I guess you can`t have the perfect train on every stage. |
