Expect Froome to go full retard on mountains and to get 10 minutes on some of them.

Drama already - Cool!
Was it Pinot that was down aswell?
Seems no one is paying much attention to the possible yellow jersey in the attack. Gallopin.

Sigh Froome, how about we neutralize every race in the rain?! - no time for your shenanigans & get your mind clear for once, fun hasn't even started yet.

Are you fucking serious Count and Admir? Since then, you've become the presidents of the pussyclub? This is Tour de France and not Tour de mountains and time trials. If you can't kick it in different type of stages and conditions, then you are not worthy of winning.
So every Tour without cobbles isn't worth it? Ridiculous.
Anyway I like the inclusion of the cobbles but I also like riders working in a safe environment so that they can continue to do their job of entertaining me every week without a risk of breaking their collarbone.

Yeah, I am fucking serious. I do not want to see anyone dying on road because of pain and I don't want to see 100 guys crashing and struggling because of morons who want to watch better cycling, in their "warm" homes.
You do realize how slippery these cobblestones are in rain? Do you?

Theyre not more dangerous than lets say a wet descent off Col du Tourmalet. |

wait no hard cobbles?
what a shame, I was hoping on seeing riders getting their tour destroyed by crashing on the cobbles (a la F.Schleck 2010)

1. Totally missed my point. It's not that Tour without cobbles isn't worth it. It's that given route shouldn't been made more easy because of some conditions that are laughable to those who ride in heavy rain every spring.
2. There's a big chance to break a collarbone in every damn stage, so let's not act like suddenly it's some sort of revolution. It seems that you are scared for GC contenders because you want every one of them to have a chance to fight for good place before we have reached the mountains, but I on the other hand don't care if they lose significant time or whole damn race because of lack of skill or lack of luck. |

Janier Acevedo said prior to the stage, that he was extremely fearful, and couldn't wait for it to be over with. I was surprised to see him attack, less surprised when I read he crashed
If you are scared shitless before the stage, you are bound to crash.
Voigt said it wasn't a matter of crashing or not, but merely a matter of how often they would crash. So he put a bundle of tape all over his body for the sake of saving as much skin as possible
