There is a very good solution -> 2 stories with the same team, in the same time. Can't see a single problem there.

Seems like the Cult story won't be anything anyway , as I didn't like playing with the team when I began :3 So will try to find something else , any ideas ?

You guys know the feeling, when you want to write a story, but something gets in your way over and over again?
I wanted to make a story...i had my concept...then the study time started...
I wanted to write it again...i discovered EPIC, and i wrote a report...
Now i want to write my story, some reports, i am joining the university motorsport club and i'm actually bound to my bed, because i have an infection...a serious one, if you know what i mean...
Also my day starts at 7:00 and goes until 17:00...freetime, where are you?
How am i supposed to get all this done?

you are not forced to immediatly post what you've played, you could also save some reports you make in the little time you have and when you get more time again you could start the story for reals

After 8 years being in the background, Phonak Hearing Systems are returning to Professional Cycling! We have gotten big interests from former riders and we're glad that we once mean't something to someone. We were unable to buy Ryder Hesjedal back to our team, which was the one that discovered his great abillities so many years ago, but we'll promise that we will try again!
We have to main priorities this first season, for one thing we want to get a wildcard for one of the big Grand Tours, and we would prefer in getting noticed in the Tour de France, so we've not come to talk smal. As our next goal is to get promotion to the WT and we are confident that we have the means to do just that, but with an experienced squad mixed with an unexperienced staff may cause some problems

Hi
This is my latest project and even though it's not certain this will be the team I will use for my story, then there is a big chance that it'll be! This is based on my solo career with a team that reminds a lot of this, I think I posted it in the General Career Discussion, when explaining about how to make a custom team
The team is considered to be my version of IAM Cycling, and even though it's more unrealistic than I would normally allow, then I hope that this should make a succesful, but still challenging story. As said this may not be the team I'm going to use, as the story will come out on ideas very quickly :
So I would like to hear what ya think ?

He wants to know what we think of the idea
Team looks nice, but are you replacing IAM or making a custom team? Because IAM is basically non-existent after creating this team, which is not good.

Of course not xD I just replaced IAM with this team in the database, which I made specifically for this

So I had the idea of starting a story with a cyclist focusing a bit more on track than on the road, like say Bobridge (though the rider would ofc be fantasy). As an added twist, I thought I could let story followers controll his progression. Would there be any interest in something like that? Obviously he wouldn't be too great, and probably at a team like Budget Forklifts, if I can be arsed to download the FDB.

@sgdanny: I'd pick a different title. "The Comeback" has been used before.
@Dippofix: Be very cautious on how you let the followers control progression. It seems like a great idea but can go completely wrong fast if you don't give them strict rules to follow. (From first hand experience).

Yeah, I'm aware of that
But anyway have decided to scrap the idea mentioned, as I didn't see much potential in the team for a story. But luckily I have a backup story, which I'm gonna post some info about later this evening
@Dippo : We definitely need a story about a Track Rider in general, so sticking to just that, would make it enough reason for me to follow

My new story will be out this afternoon, it's called "Blood, Sweat and Tears" and is about a German / Polish cycling team, that will face more obstacles than first anticipated, as UCI has doomed the project as fragile from the beginning and some trouble with the economy will leave the team with an open wound.
The story is based upon the fact, that something really succesful often comes out of hard work and not everything turns the good way and the story will also hit the topic of Doping and how important Teamwork really is

The thing about track racing is there's really nothing at all too it, meaning it'd need to be a very narrative story, which is not something I feel like at the moment. Maybe at another point.
Also, I've got the Jack revival all ready now, basically all I need to do is find a title and tweak the layout a little bit. Believe it or not, I find the title the trickiest part so far.

For people following my story, I did include some track so I'm speaking from first hand experience. A story about track only does not have the potential to last over 10 pages if even that. It is very repetitive and also quite boring. I do however like the original idea; incorporate track cycling into a road cyclist's career in a more detailed manner. If you decide to go through with it, then it could be very good.

Any chance of Story of the Month being brought back? I wouldn't mind running it if need be.

Nothing planned amongst the Admins. Various reasons, primarily the severe lack of interest when it was ended. But also no admin is particularly interested in picking it up. I guess i would be most likely of the Admins but i'd rather put my time into other things.
My advice would be to wait until the new year if you wanted to try anything. November would be won by Martijn North with next to no competition, December skipped for Yearly awards, so you're at January before the first interesting competition
