A shame Sayar couldn't make it into the top 10. I think it would have been possible, but 11th is also okay I think. |

Incredibly proud of my team in Argentina. Far beyond what I hoped for.

Hmm. Maybe wanted a bit better on that stage, as Rosskopf again was content with sitting back and not following attacks. A top 15 isn't something to get too worried about, but for sure the point haul is going to be minimal. Looking through some of the names above, a better placing would have been possible.
So, not much is going to change now.

Nicácio in orange. Fantastic. He must hold on from here!
That final climb favoured the climbers more than the puncheurs by the results and the way the race unfolded. What a stage! Godoy not performing is completely overshadowed by our Brazilian's triumph.
Nicácio not being in the top 10 in the points/mountain competitions shows he is one real consistent rider who doesn't need to win stages or even podium to win a GC. |

7th by Schwab is somewhat decent, but in no way makes up for the race so far. Just ... bad.

I feel always sorry when things like that happen. Looking at his TT-result, Schwab might have had tough times in the GC anyway, but his mountain-stage was truly disappointing, as Fumic couldn't really hang on with the best as well. I'm sure he will deliver soon though

Still, this could have gone better. And I don't like my chances for the remainder of the season in Stage Races where there's no Pedraza leading the team. |

The race went well for my team with consistent point scoring of vosekalns, Dupont and joeaar. At least much better than I imagined after joeaar lost time early...
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Bonscuro take home the GC.
A landmark moment for the team, great to see a Brazilian take home our first GC.
-- A fantastic result which helps us big time towards our goal of a top 10 in the American tour standings.
Greatly reported tsmoha, I was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole race. |

Thanks for those great reports over the last couple of days tsmoha.
A shame that only a part of the break could hang on. In my oppinion either the full break should have made it, with Uwizeyimana in a front position preferably or none as without the break members in the top 10 Sai-Udomsin would have made the point scoring places.
Sayar did great with 11th in GC and 3rd in the U25 rankings.

Nothing on last stage which was to be expected.
Overall not a bad result forthe team. Jeannesson disappointing but Adamou witha good 7th in the GC, 2nd in the U25 and a stage win. Menchov with a decent 18th in the GC and a stage win, also 5th in Points and KOM isnt bad from him. Rather disappointed about Jeannesson 19th in the GC but he showed himself with the favourites on stage 6. And the team doing pretty well winning the teams classification. Overall, a good points haul.

Thanks to tsmoha for the quality and speed of reporting, and the opposition teams for providing great competition. Was an exciting race throughout.
Great race for Nutresa, even without either of our 2 recognised leaders being on the start line. Beltran did an awesome job, featuring somewhere in pretty much every classification. As the sponsors favourite (one of the main draws to get them to sign on the dotted line in the first place), Eduard is proving a good return on their investment. Lucas Haedo tried hard in the sprint stages, and although never making on to the podium, mopped up a good number of top 10 finishes. In fact, we had a rider in a point scoring top 8 position on every single stage! Valencia's stage win on stage 3 was very much a highlight. Much respect to the team for a pleasing all round performance.
May be slightly off, as back-of-the-envelope calculation, but I think all that effort has brought home exactly 100 points, so just over 14/RD. More than satisfied with that, as C2 races don't distribute too many points.

By the way. Great reporting Tsmoha. You are certainly very busy with your reporting and churned out these amazing reports at a rate. Keep up the good work and please provide my team with more victories.

So nothing much to end the tour. Definitely wanted a better GC placement, but at least nothing horribly bad happened. Interesting placements from my team there as well on the final stage.
In the end, a decent amount of points were scored, mainly due to the TT. Not going to complain too much.
As always, great reports tsmoha.

Happy to take the points jersey (though tied, still ranked Haedo #1). Was certainly our objective coming into this tour and Haedo made it happen. Obviously thrilled with stage 1, and then continued to get decent performances.
Ardila getting into the top 10 GC was a good run for him. So pleased with that result as well.
Thanks to tsmoha for the reporting!

Thank you for the kind words, guys! Glad you enjoyed the reports! I really appreciate your contribution to this discussion, which is always an extra motivation for a reporter. So also thanks for that!
Pretty interesting race. Liked the mix of stages here, as well as those battle for the GC-lead. Made for some tricky reporting, but also for some thrill. Congrats to all who feel their team did well
