Nice to see Rojas still holding fourth one way or another Grin

Slagter, Kelderman, great Smile

Now they just have to find a way to drop Thomas. Repeat of TDU 2013 Pfft everyone thinking Thomas will go on for the win, and then have Slagter beat him

Nice one by Å tyby, I am really looking forward to cobbles classic.Cool
Die hard fan of Tom Boonen and Quickstep since 2004.

Sky weren't lying when they said Thomas was going to improve his climbing, were they? I know it's still early in the season, but I can't help feeling worried for the Tour...

Good finale, though. The climb was a bit of a disappointment, so I'm glad those who actually did something were rewarded

Well we saw a glimpse of the Sky train with Geraint in Andalucia...

Yes, it was a bit like the riders were looking out in vain for the 25% bit - "where is it, still can't see it...oh, we're at the top..."

Still enjoyed the run in mind.

borefest...bad stage.. can't believe what i'm reading.

I'm sure if it was Nibali and Betancur instead of Thomas and Slagter everyone would be raving about the stage.
It's not the names that make the race, it's the racing. There was racing. Guys got away on a climb, there was a chase, there were counterattacks, there was a leader battling for his jersey..
This stage didn't really lack anything.

Damn you guys are hard to please

Wasn't that bad indeed(though I haven't watched all of it), not a borefest at least.

2 Dutch guys on the podium helps for me though, I admit Wink

Great result from both Slagter and Kelderman. The second Dutch victory here, while there hasn't been many stage victories here from Dutch cyclists the last few years (Westra in 2012, but can't remember many more). It would be awesome if a Dutch cyclist could win the GC here! Grin

It's like last year's Tour Down Under again! Great to see Thomas take Yellow Smile

And Slagter will take over that jersey then and win. Pfft I'd be happy with that. Smile

Meh, it's still anyone's game at this point. Mur de Fayence and Col d'Eze will decide

I don't think anything will happen tomorrow or saturday

John Degencolb (GIA) had only one day to enjoy his yellow jersey. After the first hilly stage, won by Tom Jelte Slagter (BEL), the leader's jersey is now in hands of Geraint Thomas (SKY).

However the GC isn't decided yet, as there come more hills tomorrow.

It doesn't matter who they chose as team leader, if Sky starts a stage race in France they win it.
