Legendary.
is he going to start diving now aswell?
Hasn't he been doing that for years?
No, he was never in Rabobank.

3 teams are looking to make Kelderman an offer for next season:
Sky(), BMC () and Orica()
Oh, and Belkin is obviously looking to renew.

Orica would be interesting. Probably the best GT-rider there then.

Kinda hope he stays at Belkin. I dont believe Mollema can ever get a top-3 in Tour de France while Kelderman seems to have the potential to even win it someday. Adam Yates also looks VERY promising, but who doesnt want Kelderman at this point?
If he goes, i hope for Orica. Sky is meh (and have alot of GC riders allready) and BMC... meh |

Team with Wiggo, Yates bros and Kelderman, would be my favourite team. |

I'll be pleasantly surprised if Kelderman ever finishes on a GT podium. |

+1
He just doesn't look like someone that's going to win a GT. He's just not that type of rider that is "brave" enough to attack (and that has that kind of positive arrogance) or to do something by himself, but just to follow others. No disrespect, I like him, just that's how I see the situation with him.
Also, I don't he'll improve much either. Especially if goes to Sky, that would totally destroy his career.

Considering his age, and he's improvement each year so far, plus the fact the Tour climbs are just about perfect for him - he could well finish on podium.

Sorry. What?
He attacks pretty often, on his own. Val Martello should be the most obvious one, lately.
And he attacked at the first Dauphiné mountain stage, twice even. Froome and Conta got him back in though.
He does indeed follow attacks as well, but hell, he definitely doesn't sit back, he's one of the most agressive riders lately.

Sorry. That.
Of course he made few attacks, I never said he's passive all the time, but that he's way less passive than one young rider and future GT winner should be. Just take Aru as an example. I am, at the end, allowed to have my own opinion, especially in these situations when I am discussing this with a fanboy who's clearly biased.

I'm just looking at the facts, and also reading other forums/news articles/whatever.
Being a fanboy hasn't got much to do with it.
I don't think Aru is much more of an attacker than Kelderman, tbh.
Of course you're entitled to your own opinion, but I'm sure I can bring some facts in:
''Why should I always follow? That way I’ll never win''
https://www.wieler...innen.html
''Agressive Kelderman''
https://www.cyclin...ro-fatigue
''it's Kelderman to make an attack from the leading group''
https://www.vavel....l_live.tpl
"I came to the front with the final kilometer, and I tried to attack.''
https://www.cyclin...aris-nice/
Where's Ruben when you need him, I'm sure he can provide some more facts

Wait, we should judge by newspapper/online portal headlines and not by actual racing? Seems legit.

This could be another rider with the seemingly dutch curse, but just stating he has the potential and in the long run probably be a level above Mollema. Just getting podium on a GT wouldnt surprise me at all - if he hasnt achieved that in say 10 years, I would be rather surprised. |

Aru needs to attack less, he makes his attacks stick

You want facts. If I mention attacks from him, you call me biased.
If I provide (normally) unbiased sources, it's still wrong.
What do I have to provide then? Read the Cyclingnews forums for example, if you like so? Kelderman attacks often, I bet everyone agrees.
He's way more agressive than someone like Mollema, and did Wiggins attack often in TdF '12, for example? Did Evans?
Btw, his potential got nothing to do with it. I'm not talking about that. I am biased at that point, I know. But I can speak unbiased about whether he's agressive or not. Mollema isn't, for example.
