Well, I won't have anything against if that happens this year, aswell.
Thanks!

I don't think I'll find the time to post the reviews of each race separadetly, so as everyone else, I'll just post month previews and reviews from this point. Hope that's okay.
Welcome to the February Review of Team Nordeus! After a pretty empty and quite bad start of the season, team desperately needed good results. Can't say that it was successful month, but it was by far better than January, if nothing. You can find some of our results below:
Rider | Race | Cat. | Result | G. Bole | Benelux Challenge - Stage 1 | C2HC | 3rd | G. Bole | Benelux Challenge - Stage 2 | C2HC | 3rd | G. Bole | Benelux Challenge - Stage 3 | C2HC | 2nd | Y. Martinez | Tour of the Middle East - Stage 1 | C2 | 5th | Y. Martinez | Tour of the Middle East - Stage 2 | C2 | 1st | N. Jovanović | Strade Bianche | HC | 22nd |
It wasn't hard to choose the photo of the month, as the first win in the season came here. However, that might not be a valid win due to problems in ToME, but it most likely will be a valid result. Therefore, our "Photo of the Month" award goes to Martinez and his great sprint-win.
Photo of the month:
Martinez dominating the sprint on ToME's 2nd stage and bringing us the first win
The month is officially over for us with these 3 races (see the preview), but as the ToME is moved and it's definitely our biggest hope this month, I think we'll see our guys in action more, this month. Nothing to wait for: Statzone time now!
Statzone:
Races | 3 | Race Days | 10 (only 2 stages of ToME) | Points | To be updated | Points Per Race Day | To be updated | Rider of the Month | Y. Martinez |
The end of this months recap and review is getting to itsend, so we would like to once again give our comment on what has been happening in past 28 days in Cycling and Nordeus World.
Final Word:
Good! One 5th place, two 3rd places, one 2nd and one 1st with big possibility of repeating some of these results for at least few times (continuation of ToME) gives us a big hope. Hopefully, this "good" Nordeus streak won't stop for a long time now! That was all, cheers and see ya in March preview!

Indeed. If the ToME continues, we'll have the yellow jersey which, by PCM13 logic, means we'll get in some serious action.
I have some good info for you, but I guess we should wait our March preview.

Just watch ToME be cancelled, and your win revoked
Jokes aside, Bole is proving to be a consistent podium finisher, indeed one of the best pickups for your team.

Well, it maybe is because MG pace is really low at the moment, but I am actually starting to think the best way of updating HQ is just to put up update from time to time and when I actually have something to report, without making those monthly reviews and statistics like most other guys. I think I'll make this a bit more "wannabe-story" instead of just pointing out something most of you can see (results). Still, Meet the Squad is going to be finished until the season ends - definitely.
@Code - No. That would be too fuckin' evil.
@knockout - Seeing what I wrote above, you may never see that preview, but we'll see.
Even though it wasn't really visible, we in headquarters of first Serbian CT team - Team Nordeus were working really hard last couple of weeks and after some pretty good news, we've decided to bring you another update. This time, as you can see from the title, we're going to talk about sponsors and rumours for next season. Obviously, seeing how far we've got (first ever cycling national project in Serbia is actually working), there was quite some interest about being part of all this from some big names and companies. Even though it's still very early in the season, in agreement with brands that were negotiating with us and showed some interest, we've decided to share some names that you may see next year sponsoring us! Telekom Srbija , AirSERBIA & Delta Holding
[img-l]https://www.dodaj.rs/f/2r/11U/45y5xUVT/ts-crest.png[/img-l] The biggest telecommunication corporation and the company that is already big part of this cycling project, Telekom Srbija was one of two companies that showed the biggest interest in investing more money and getting even a bigger role in next season. Their plans are clear and that's exactly what we need for a long-term project like this. People from Nordeus would like to co-operate with such a big company and I don't think that riders would have any problems if something like this happens. So yes, this definitely sounds like a great option and something that will surely think of in upcoming months.
[img-l]https://www.dodaj.rs/f/19/JK/xkaDE7Y/as-crest.png[/img-l] Yet another company that already plays a role in sponsoring our team this year and definitely the company that has most to offer in terms of turning a bit more international and in terms of financial support. As the part of Etihad corporation that is slightly getting into many other sports, as well as cycling, AirSERBIA clearly noted that if we get to chose them, money won't be an obstacle next season - at all. That, you have to agree, sounds great and I don't really think there are many teams in the world of cycling that would reject an offer like this, so this is a pretty much win-win situation for us. As a little add-on to their mail, they also offered full taking of team sponsorship, which is worth a mention in this update, but will be hard to achieve, as far as Nordeus has the plans they have at this point.
[img-l]https://www.dodaj.rs/f/1c/10L/1TBT9l0O/dh-crest.png[/img-l]The last offer was absolutely unexpected as Delta isn't part of Nordeus cycling project at the moment and it came from Serbian largest corporation that is in hands of the richest man in this country. The offer itself wasn't really attractive, as email we got just talked about developing cycling and the sport generally in this country and just "supporting" the team, without actually being a big part of it, but who would reject something like this? The little part of Delta Holding is focused on bike-manufacturing, so that can only be a good thing, if this deal ever get to happen.
That was all for this update of Sponsor Rumours, see ya in next one, where we're most likely going to talk about possible future bike, equipment and clothing manufacturers. Stay tuned!

Racing starts again!
After couple of weeks without racing, that honestly felt like infinity for cycling enthuasists and freaks like us, Team Nordeus is finally back on roads. The first "steps" after this long pause were made in France, precisely its province Bretagne. The 7-days long Tour called the same as the name of this area brought us alot of great experience and made our guys get some km's in legs, just before our first goal of the season, our next race, Istrian Spring Trophy starts (tomorrow). Even though we brought some of our best guys here, our main goal wasn't really to aim for a win or any high position here, but just to test where we're at now and how are we doing before the actual goals-season starts for us. However, guys did great there and they, without any doubt, managed to surprise everyone, especially us in the management of this team.
Guys controlling the race on 4th stage
Just as expected, Grega Bole, one of our best riders, was our leader for this race. And, he did great! One 2nd place, one 4th place and few more Top 10 places were great enough to call this race successful for him. However, he wasn't the only one showing the power, as Dall'Antonia, Jovanovic, Kiserlovski, Alafaci and even Schinker all managed to get at least one Top 15 place in those 7 stages, which is amazing. The only Luxembourgian rider in our team, Nico Schinker, however, didn't manage to finish the race due to injury and did not start 5th stage. He's recovering well and he'll certainly be ready for racing again quickly.
Great overall performance was crowned by 3rd place of Bole in GC, 4th Points place, as well as 3rd position in Team's classification. All in all, one great and successful race for us. Lovely preparation for all our goals and what's waiting for us in near future.

We don't give whole teams to new managers.
Apply the next time we look for new guys and if your application and your general behaviour in this forum is well enough, you will be given the opportunity to start a team from scratch, just like everyone else but the first season managers did.
