Finally, our best riders compete in our home race. This is the race we have looking toward all year, and finally, it is upon us.
This is our team as previously stated
Leader = Julian Rodas
Sprinter = Robert Sweeting
Mountain Free Element = Remy Di Gregorio
Hill Free Element = Phillip Gaimon
Helper = Nicolas Rousseau
Lead Out = Cyril Lemoine
Helper = Sylvain Chavanel

However, we do have some tough competition against us specifically in the mountains where we will be aiming for a high finish with Rodas and/or Di Gregorio. Specifically Kashechkin and Eastman will certainly be the main favorites for the GC though. On the other hand, Sweeting and Gaimon will be specifically going for stage wins, Gaimon has slim competition with Zaini being the only other real puncheur, but Sweeting will have to use his hill abilities to beat the likes of Thorsen, Drujon, Mezgec and many others.

It'll be an interesting race to say the least.

Auchan Dissapointed, Disides to Stop Sponsorship, Replaced by Carrefour

Reports coming out of the the In-n-Out camp are that the in-n-out team managers have been told that Auchan will not be joining the team as a sponsor next year. though the team was not given any specific reason, reports have said that Auchan was disappointed with the team's 14th place finish compared to the amount of money they put in the team.

However, sponsor that was almost the team's sponsor last year, jumped right onto the open sponsorship. That sponsor was the French department store chain....Carrefour!

The team has also been able to bring back minor sponsor ESPN, who have loved the more world-wide exposure that the team have been giving them.

In-n-Out will remain in CT

After many weeks of speculation, Man-Game management finally announced that In-n-out will be remaining in the man-game at the CT division. This comes after the team was strongly at risk of disbanding due to a whole ton of reasons. Luckily the team will remain and now be called "In-n-Out Cycling Team Powered By Carrefour"

Renewals!

After a long time of negotiating and basically picking teeth, In-n-out p/b Carrefour have finally finished negotiations and released who will be staying on the team and for how much:

That leaves the team with 12 riders and around 275k in salary cap left, which puts the team in quite a good position going into the transfer season. However, just because a player was resigned, doesn't mean the team is necessarily looking to keep him. Specifically Remy Di Gregorio is still having issues with management and may be looking for a change of scenery. The team actually released a list of its likelyhood to transfer out a rider:

Need Very Good Deal:
Phillip Gaimon
Julian Rodas
Robert Sweeting
Open to Discussion:
Alexandre Aulas
Chris Barton
Cyril Lermoine
Antoine Matteau
Nicolas Rousseau
Looking to transfer:
Sylvain Chavanel
Christophe Kern
Jean-Lou Paiani
Needs to be Gone:
Remy Di Gregorio

The Team's full schedule will be released soon as well as some transfer news hype before the full transfer season starts.

Sylvain Chavanel wants a Transfer

The french legend Sylvain Chavanel has formally asked the team for a transfer. He handed in the request this morning which has sent shockwaves through the team. Chavanel, was loved by his teammates and coaches alike and has sent the team into mass confusion. "Sylvain was the heart and soul of the team last year, he really brought us together despite us having cultural differences" Phillip Gaimon said. Cyril Lemoine also commented by saying, "It's really disappointing, but in the end it's his choice". Clearly Sylvain was a great rider for the team's morale and cohesion as a unit but the team may have no choice but transfer him. Chavanel was not available for comment but Maxime Oget said, "I have too much respect for him to keep him if he wants to leave (...) we will have to sell him"

First Transfer... BLAISE SONNERY

*Press Conference*
After a particularly panicky first few days of the transfer season, we would like to introduce our first signing...please welcome former Ayubowan! rider... BLAISE SONNERY!
After negotiations, we acquired Blaise for a mere 390k, a lot of money, but still leaving us with enough money to make a few more transfers if needed. Now i'm gonna stop talking and answer some questions...
"Why?"
Wow, that's a straight forward question, well we decided to bring in Blaise because he a very good sprinter for the CT, but also he is fantastic in the Mountains and Hills, so we're pretty confident he'll win quite a few hilly races this season.
"But you already have a rider like that in Robert Sweeting"
Yes but a team can never have too much talent, and really that allows us to have a very good multi-terrained sprinter in every race we attend.
"How much is his wage?"
Actually, this might sound pretty crazy, but he is being payed the bare minimum of 50k, he'll definitely earn a raise by the end of the year though.
"This adds another french rider, continuing the gap of French to American riders on your squad, is your sponsor okay with it?"
Well I told In-n-out that unless they give me a massive budget increase, that there was no way I was going to be able to afford more American riders, they decided not to increase my budget, so my hands are tied in regards to American riders

Alright that's all we have time for, thank you so much!
