I like the ads. Because they are google based i actually get things related to my searches, so banking, houses and jobs mostly. Stuff that i do click on at times. Looking now and it's sports clothing underneath and hair gel on the side. I might even go the clothing site after i post and see if there are any good deals kicking about.
Don't like ads, fair enough. If you want to just install an ad-blocker. But frankly the ads on daily are really out of the way. Although that bottom one is dangerously close to the post button...
Don't the ads you get given. Then stop being a pervert with your google searches

So i got my knee scan results back. Only took one day longer than they said, which for the NHS is pretty good actually.... Shame they only brought bad news...
I'm banned from all sport. Nothing at all in terms of sport until they can fix it up with an operation. But because it is not life-threatening or whatever i get stuck at pretty much the bottom of every waiting list. So that means earliest op time of mid-April and an absolute earliest recovery of mid-May... No handball or cycling until mid-May at best. More realistic estimate is operation in June/July and recovery in July/August... fml
I've even been told not to do excessive walking it's that fucked apparently. No more than i absolutely have to do to get back and forth from Campus, which is about 30-40minutes a day.
The tear itself is not that much worse but the way things have adapted to work properly means that other parts of the cartilage are over stressed, and if they tear/break/whatever then that would be me off walking! So yeah it's an understandable decision but one that just sucks.
So no Nationals, which means no chance of an England link up and no semi-pro/pro career. That's now three times i've missed out on a dream job/opportunity because of health in the last 18 months... Christ almighty i must have smashed a thousand mirrors at some point...
Upside! Cause there is always one... More gaming and Daily time. Plus i'm gonna get a specialized fitness plan made for me to help keep me fit, standard cost of around £250, so that will be good as well.

I suppose I know the feeling when you're told you can't run any more, must walk a strict minimum, etc.
I can only sympathize. Anyway if you're operated you should be fine after that, although it's probably going to take a while. |

Knee injuries are always such a pain to deal with.

Bad for you Manx, but there are certainly worse things than half-year break from sports and you should be fine after the operation. Get well soon!
And being without cycling really sucks, MTB in my case as i dont ride road bike.
I had that broken collarbone break from May till August last year, best months for off road riding..

I'd disagree now... the Ad blocks a huge chunk of the Flag drop down menu making them invisible, let alone clickable....
EDIT: Same for some Colors and Table sizez

Have to say that i didn't realise the ad is over the drop down menu, now that is what you call annoying |

I've tested it in Firefox 26, Internet Explorer 9 and Google Chrome 32. No problems in any of them. |
