Decent showing by Lemoine and Dean who secure at least a few points and show that Cartoon Network's morale is still high up after the abandonment of our leader Mosquera.

Much reduced amounts of cobbles led to less turmoil, but still one more day of the cobbled stuff.
Still looking fir more mayhem really for Jerome we shall see.
Great speed of reporting here rider, good work.

The last of the cobbled stages in this tour, many team managers will be relieved once this stage, which uses the route of the Omloop, is over.
13 riders make the break.
The riders in the break today are: Gretsch, Schierlinckx, Shipilevski, House, McCann, Beppu, Zagorodny, Berkhout, Mol, Sorensen, Juodvalkis, Marinangeli and Cronshaw.
Once we hit the first cobbled section it is clear that Schierlinckx is the strongest for the cobbles....
The Bluebell train hits the front again.
With the break at 6'30 with 90 kilometres to go Bluebell Creameries, looking to help out their leader Popovych, hit the front with all 8 domestiques.
The Erviti Show!
Left: 78 kilometres to go the break at 5'30. Erviti puts in a small attack but it gets nowhere and he retreats back into the safety of the peloton.
Right: With 30 kilometres to go Erviti attacks out of the peloton again. This time he would put in a bigger effort and it is not long before he reaches the 3 surviving men of the break 2'00 ahead of the peloton: Mol, Juodvalkis and Berkhout.
No doubt Schierlinckx would still be at the head of the race but he suffered a big fall on the cobbles.
Roulston attacks with 17 kilometres to go.
It doesn't take the Kiwi long to bridge the 1'00 to Mol, Erviti and Juodvalkis.
The 45 man peloton eases up with no teams willing to drive any of the favourites to the line. This allow Reihs to regain contact after surprisingly being dropped. Notably Willems and Jesus Hernandez are further behind the peloton as Kuschynski attacks after previously being dropped.
Roulston is clearly the strongest as the finish approaches....
But the Kiwi launches his final effort way way too early as a result, whilst teammate Mol is dropped, Juodvalkis comes level with Roulston and Erviti.......
Takes a win for Nokia Ekspla! He was well AHEAD at the finish!
A great stage for Erviti sees him rescue an otherwise dismal first week for Nokia - Ekspla. Roulston had the win for the taking but poor tactics cost him.
In a close finish for fifth, after Kuschynski was caught Puccio takes it ahead of Morkov.
That wraps up the cobbles...
