Great edition once more. Would have loved to read an interview with Atlantius too though, especially since Mresuperstar was already featured in the first edition. Keep it up Ian!

This. Nothing to do with the writing or anything, but Mre was covered really not that long ago in the opening issue. No real new content or insight. Not the fault of either people just the way things fell (although if anyone did not see that coming you need a new brain)
Overall a bit of a let down of an issue for me. Main interview was underwhelming, the covering pieces for team and sutty were bland. The summaries of voting brief and the screens was let down by the Day in the Life (it didn't win, so a TT1 or NRS image etc was equally worthy and most of the NRS ones are just outstandingly beautiful)
Couple of small spelling or editing issues but nothing major. Layout and visuals were really good this time though! No clutter, clear focuses and flows. In that sense a real step upwards for the concept. Hopefully it will continue with the February issue in a couple of weeks time. (praying the interview is with some fairly small writer, and not Pelli or Valv or another big name... otherwise you are going to rapidly run out of those big interest issues fast)

Interviewing myself would've been quite difficult indeed. So that's why you all didn't vote for me, you were actually thinking ahead towards this. Really, you guys, so sweet!
@TMM: I'm always looking forward to (or afraid of is a better way of describing it) to your view on the matter. This edition wasn't meant to have big insights, just to present the winners to the general audience and go a bit deeper into the matter, but not extremely deep.
I know Mresuperstar had only been done for December, but winning 2/3 awards, he didn't leave me much chance, I couldn't fill 2 pages without mentioning him and The Comeback.
Also, the only award I was 100% on was The Comeback, so I had some time to prepare the magazine for that award, so I could release it so quickly after the awards
There were two shots from winning stories and two shots from nominated stories and those were mainly chosen to fit the page. And, agreed, maybe I shouldn't have put A Day in The Life - photo in it but I'm proud of that story and I think it deserves that since it didn't really get a mention in the rest of the edition  And in the end I'm the Writer's Block creator. I definitely don't use it to promote my own stories or whatever, but I think it deserves a mention every once in a while
Anyway, In February there will be a regular edition, going back to our regular scheduled programming.

I wouldn't bet on a Disney storybook ending. But who knows?
