Yeah, took me a while as well.
BUt after 30 secs or so, there was a pop-up asking me if I want to give the installer permission to run. And if you click yes, it'll get done 
You know what, as soon as i posted it popped up  flaming half an hour though...
Seems to be on track now... i think... it might be installing to the wrong location, but i'll find out

New problem 
No stages... at all... nothing... nada.... nope.... zero.... zilch...
Everything else has installed correctly but apparently no stages exist?
Suggestions?
Also, it installed the DB as a new sub folder inside PCM, beacuse it would not let me change to install path properly. So it made a new "Saison 2013" folder in my "Season 2013" folder. I had to copy everything up and out into the correct positions. And yes i checked, there are no stages in this new folder either. Or anywhere else i can think of.

Well, you did install it wrong. Try re-installing, and then selecting the right folder when installing. Just remove the added Saison 2013 map when asked for directory(you can even just backspace it)
You also didn't copy it well, if you copy it right, there should be stages appearing in the CM_stages folder.
But re-installing seems best.

Yeah i installed it wrong, partly because i don't speak French, and partly because the installer didn't use my instructions. I changed the install path then it installed it in the sub folder of its own accord anyway.
Don't see why the stages would not just install in there though... Surely they would also install the incorrect location?
And i did Copy&Paste correctly as i have manually checked, and every single file that was in the sub-folder is now in the correct places, and i mean every single file.
Will re-install because it looks so mental and fun. But if it doesn't work this time i'm not willing to give over another 2 hours trying to make it work.

ok, help me out here.
Choosing where to install the DB. Use "Browse" to select my PCM folder in the C drive, but when i go to press next this message pops up:
Mauvais dossier. Merci de selectionner le repertoire principal de PCM 2012. Cliquez sur Non pour ignorer
What does that mean?

Hmm...
Whatever it is, there's probably a way to solve it, and believe me, it's worth it...
I'm playing 'The Heroic Throphy' right now, and it made me laugh. F.e, the sponsors: Panoramix Energy Drink(Asterix reference), and things like the Hogwarts Express, Stark Industries, Kwik-E-Markt etc.
Let alone all the cool races they created, both profile and scenery.
Oh, and I fell in love with the sprint challenges(challenges of roughly 5km, 6 guys participating, 1 per team, and then they have to fight it out...). There are flat ones, but also hilly, cobbled and mountainous.
And the Duo TTs, and the amazing stages in the Great Race, and the... well... find out yourself

Fucking finally got it sorted... mostly...
Still installed to a sub-folder, but everything installed this time including the stages. Now just another 1-2hours to copy everything into the correct places

You have to tick the 'Faces of riders' and '1 texture per rider' options in the options menu(at the graphical settings )
