Well, I was watching Meaning of Life last night, and that lead me to thinking, if i wanted to create one of the most vicious debates on pcmdaily all I had to do was post a very simple question:
What is the best Monty Python movie?
Personally I would go with Life of Brian, but what does everybody else think?
I saw Life Of Brian years ago, and Holy Grail again a couple of months ago. I enjoyed the second one better, but I can't remember Life Of Brian too well any more.
I've been watching the four movies in this last 2 days (Meaning of Life yesterday, Holy Grail, Life of Brian and a bit of Now for Something Completely Different today), and the Quest for the Holy Grail is still my favourite one.
I'll never forgot the "Migrating Coconuts", "Knights who say "Ni"", "Bridge of Death" and "the killer bunny" sketches.
Life of Brian is quite good, with the "Bigus Dickus" thing and so many other things.

It was funny, i was going with some friends, and before i left the house i told my dad what movie i was going to see, and he goes, "Doesn't Tom Cruise play a Nazi?".
And then proceeded to say i couldn't go, won him over though

Watched both The Wrestler and Slumdog Millionaire the other day, both pretty brilliant.
Mickey Rourke is pretty incredible in the Wrestler, might be good enough for an oscar I think, interesting to see such a different film from Aronofsky too, much different to Pi or RFAD
Slumdog Millionaire was good too, everyones touting it for Best Film and it seems fair enough.
I finally decided to watch "...Og det var Danmark". It's a Danish movie about the Danish National Football Team from 1979 to the European Championship victory in 1992 -- and wow, how I wish I was born just a few years earlier. Seems like some fun years.
I was also surprised about my lack of knowledge about the years before 1992. There's a lot of funny stories there.
E.g., our very succesful coach before 1992, Sepp Piontek, decided to step back pretty much from one day to another, only because of an article in a Danish 'gossip' newspaper about him not paying enough taxes. Bye, bye.
The funny thing is that they then tried to hire another German coach - who was presented to the media at a press conference before he had signed any papers, and before they had contacted the club which he was coaching at that time, ultimately leading into the fact that they had to hire a different coach, one they had previously rejected and who was mad at the National Board, because they didn't hire him the first place.
