Hey guys, long time no see. Thought you deserved a little update after yet another period of silence.

A few days after I already posted a hint in this thread my girlfriend indeed broke up with me. I've went through a really tough period in the beginning since all the other things in my life also turned full circle. My ex and me didn't really speak to each other since we broke up, but her parents explained why she broke up with me (it's a good reason but just s**t for me to hear) and that she still has feelings for me. So now I'm slowly recovering, getting my head back into positive thoughts, and I'm also trying to make some steps to get my ex back into my life.

So, that's all for my private problems (although they're not that private anymore I guess). I still have some good news though. At the left side of this post you can see how many times I posted on this site... oh no... you've got to be kidding me... A THOUSAND POSTS?!?!

Yep, this is my 1000th post on this forum, and maybe it's a little bit selfish of me to bring it in this way, but I'm just absolutely stunned by it. I joined this forum 4,5 years ago as a shy 12-year old who only wanted to download some databases, and by then I never expected to reach 1000 posts on this site, even 100 posts seemed unreachable! And while I turned 17 a few days ago and already had some (failed) stories in the meantime, I still don't know anything about technical issues in the game, and when there's one little mistake happening while downloading a database I'm still raging around and bothering lluuiiggii, but f*** I've reached a thousand posts after all.

Since I'm so happy of the fact that I've reached the four figures I'm not leaving you behind with nothing. I know this story isn't quite going at full speed (I played like three stages in the ten months that this thread is active), but I've decided to do something about that. I somehow managed to play all the four remaining stages of La Tropicale, and you can expect them all in one post before the end of the week.

Last but not least, a massive thanks to you guys. Although you're just a few other guys sitting behind a computer, it's extremely fun to be a member of this site and having chit-chats about (mostly) a cycling game we all love to play.
