That's always nice to hear Although I have to say that that is kind of part of the problem: Since the Dominik story was so well-received, everyone, me included, will pit my new story against it, so it has to be really good. And I'm asking my self over and over again: can my ideas live up to that?
No need to think that. A new story doesn't have to be better than the previous one, if the previous one was really good. Don't worry about it not living up to the expectations, just have fun

You need to get over that.
I had some success, too, with an early story.
Now I've got another thing going, much less to other people's liking, but I decided to not let it bother me
I've been trying to get out of the shadow of those old stories too long, doesn't do much good
And don't get me wrong, I know you'll make any story good, because you're just a damn fine story writer!
I know, I know, I have to write for me and not for the readers, but I have a certain expectation as well Anyway, I'm thinking about this project for so long now that I can't guarantee that it'll ever happen, but as I said, I got some concrete work done in the last few days, so we'll see. Thanks for the kind words though
I have decided to do a story and a special one.
Because I just don't need to wait for CYM3 but can do something before I might get it sometime, somewhere...
Thanks to Mre for the help but he just knows the raw stuff but not whats it's really going to be.
But it needs some days or 2 weeks as the belgians don't let me download their stuff on their site so I have to get out that editor and work on a DB on myself.
Never seen a Cya DB story with fake names that were good.
The DB is probably the worst the Cya community will have ever seen but thats the belgians fault.

Well thanks but it isn't for CYM3 as I meant it like "not having it shouldn't prevent me to do one, when I get it I still can make then something with that one".
It would have been for CYM4-PCM07 as I don't have an idea what to use at the moment.
But comparing to what Daily had, the downloads at Focus seem not to have the patches/fixes for the DBs I wanted to test.
So I will do a DB on my own, real names plus some editing (which gives some kind of randomness/something might happen no one expects) I mean how hard can it be?
But it might be that PCM and PCM06 fall out of contention because when I played some test stages the HUD/GUI of those sometime turn completely black also the names above the riders.
Actually CYM4 and PCM07 are the least favourite of mine because these are harder than PCM and PCM06. Can't win for example any mountain top finish at the Tour 07 against Vino with the Cya DB.
Own DB would be diffrent so that Vino is not anymore the best mountain rider.
Seems to be that I can't do anything against it and would make the story a bit diffrent because 2005 and 2006 would have been perfect for the story. As 1-2 great protagonists where active then.
What doesn't work:
- Updating graphic drivers, any software (like DirectX) in general
- compability mode (nevermind which one)
- running it as an admin
What would definately work but I am not really interested in because then I need to reinstall the whole system:
- Making another partition just to install XP there to get those work

Because I like supporting my subscriptions by watching their ads so they get money to continue making videos. Plus I usually just check Daily on another tab while I wait.
So Roule Britannia has run into some issues due to insane load times... gonna keep the save so i have the option of coming back, but for now most certainly on hold.

And i'm in the process of writing something very special... very special indeed. Gonna be slightly different to my normal style, and more in line with Mre's episodic style. NOT A COPY! Very much my own thing i've been trying to perfect since he proved it was possible. Hope it comes off, but want to write up another 5-6 A4 pages first.

Wow, no wonder your stories are so good, that's dedication, the next two stories for me have just loosely formed as ideas in the back of my head, I haven't written anything down, but I am busy preparing from a DB and stage making point of view.
Story summary messages have been sent out to the nominations for the November Story of the Month and the New Story of the Month. Congrats to those that got picked.
It was an extremely tough decision. A lot of great story writing this past month, give yourselves a pat on the back story writers.
