@Selwink: A shame indeed, but his form was low (74) so I am quite happy with the result.
@Sutty: he could've done better but it's hard to sprint against guys like Boonen so it's a nice result indeed!

Today we’re using the same tactic as yesterday, with the pretty low form still we’ll try to get a top 10 here. We have a pretty big BOTD today, with one of our riders in it:

I. Groen (RIJ)
The group stays together for a while, but with 75 kilometers to go Van Winden tries to attack. The pace is not high enough and he feels pretty good. Unfortunately he can’t get away and they come back together.
When we reach the last few cobbled sections, the peloton splits. Boom and Tjallingi have managed to stay in the front group of 13 men, and Boonen and Cancellara didn’t! Vanmarcke is in that group aswell, unfortunately he missed the split.
We only have 30 kilometers left when this happens.
In the front group we have Oss, Eeckhout, Commeyne, Vansummeren, Morkov, Thomas, Rosseler and Leukemans. When they catch the BOTD, Van Winden is able to do some work for Boom. Thurau also manages to hang on.
With 12 kilometers to go Vansummeren attacks and with 10 kilometers to go Boom goes for it aswell!
They hung on for quite a while, but when the sprint started the others had a whole lot of energy left! Morkov is the strongest in the sprint, overtaking everyone with a mighty display of power! Eeckhout takes 2nd place and Thomas takes the 3rd place!
Boom finishes 8th in the sprint, and Tjallingi takes a nice 10th place. Vanmarcke is second in the sprint for the 12th place, he takes 13th place. All in all a pretty good day for Blanco!
I simulated the Ronde of West-Vlaanderen and the Strade Bianche, as I didn't feel the urge to race them and Paris-Nice and the Tirreno are coming up.

The last stage was a mixed one, we got a 5th and 6th place with Leezer and Wynants, but we saw Vanmarcke having a bad day aswell. He drops out of the number 2 spot in the GC. Our best man this race is now Leezer, he takes the 4th place in the final GC. Vanmarcke takes the 6th place, and Wynants takes the 9th place in this year's GC. Gregory Rast wins this year's Ronde of West-Vlaanderen. He is in a good shape! 2nd place goes to Scheirlinckx and 3rd place goes tho Ghyselink.

We didn't do so well here, Graeme Brown is our best man in the mass sprint. He takes 27th place. 3 riders managed to avoid the mass sprint: Andrea Palini, Manuele Boaro and Michael Schär. Only 20 seconds before the peloton! They finish in the same order as I wrote down.
@Jesley: Bianchi indeed disappointing,but it's no big deal.
@NTTHRASH: The cobble team is pretty strong with Vanmarcke and Boom as leaders, Wynants and Tjallingi are the protected helpers so it's a good team and good results so far.

As you can see, we didn’t come here for the sprints. Today and tomorrow are sprint stages so we have little chance of achieving anything there.

They got caught about 10 kilometers before the finish. We tried to put Wagner in a good position to sprint, but he couldn’t keep up with the extreme pace. Our best man today is Luis Leon Sanchez. 26th place for him.
Boonen wins this first stage, he was really strong in the sprint! Beletti takes 2nd, and Farrar who got a perfect lead-out by Kreder takes 3rd place.

They got caught by the peloton, and we got a sprint again!
Again, Wagner could not keep up with the pace and was without chances for the win… Very unfortunate but we have to accept it, we’re aiming for the GC and mountain stages.
Beletti is the strongest today, before Rojas and Boasson Hagen. Great performance by Beletti! Nordhaug got dropped due to an unfortunate flat tire and lost some time. Not a really big disappointment as Sanchez didn’t lose any time!

He wins by a margin of a mere two seconds on Cancellara. 3rd place goes to Westra, who had a great day today! Boom, van Winden and Bobridge rode a decent TT for us aswell.
Sanchez moves up to 12th place in the GC today. A good starting spot for tomorrow!

With Sanchez slowly reaching a better form we’re confident we can take some time today! Right from the start Nordhaug tried to attack!
He wasn’t the only one who tried that and he got caught. We eventually got a BOTD of 6 men:
- J. Kocjan (EUS);
- A. Palini (LAM);
- J. Voigt (RLT);
- N. Nuyens (GRS);
- C. Lemoine (SOJ);
- G. Meersman (OPQ).
The peloton lets them ride for a while but when we are nearing the last climb of the day, of the 1st category, they are almost caught! Sanchez is really unlucky here, as he gets blocked several times. He is in 50th position when we start the climb! He just rides his own pace now and is slowly creeping back forward. The breakaway is now caught.
During the climb nobody can get away and Sanchez is near the front again with 2 kilometers till the summit! His daily form is not great, but he’s surprisingly strong today. He had to give a lot to come back though. When we near the summit, he’s the first one to cross it and he immediately creates a small gap with 5 kilometers to go!
Unfortunately Rui Costa and Simon Spilak catch up to him, we’re going into the sprint with these 3 men! Sanchez has given a lot to come back and is pretty much without a chance. Costa manages to win here, Spilak takes the 2nd place and the 3rd place is for our Spaniard!
Unfortunately, a group of 30 riders has been given the same time… I swear there was about 15 seconds between us…However, Sanchez moves up to the 9th place in the GC! Just 28 seconds off the lead now, Rui Costa is the new leader! With Sanchez crossing the summit first he also takes the KOTM jersey for tomorrow!
