Volta Ciclista a Catalunya Stage 2
Favourites:
Guardini Freire Rojas
The goal is simple, win the stage.
We have not let any break go today and their is 136 kms to go and 6 kms till the Intermediate sprint, we are gonna try get 3 second bonus for Brajkovic.
All that for nothing. Friere takes it.
A break formed straight after the sprint, Boaro takes the KOTM ahead of De Backer and Bookwalter
The final KOTM is won by De Backer. 90 kms to race and the gap is 5'46"
Hunter takes the 3 bonus seconds the gap to the Peleton 4'20 with 49 kms to go.
24 kms to go and the gap is 1'24", Katusha are stringing it out.
The break is caught with 10 kms to go.
0.8 to go Guardini is about to sprint.
Davis wins the stage.
Top 10:
GC:
Guardini really does suck, im so annoyed but its difficult unless its pan flat, i must work for Bozic from now on if any hills appear. The last stage is pan flat so he best not dissapoint. He also is 95 in fitness, as he is riding the TDF i planned to aim for Paris Nice and Catalunya.

Volta Ciclista a Catalunya stage 3
Spoiler Sorry for the graphics i usually force graphics but it was taking ages to load so i put it on minimum because it is late
A big stage for GC action today a MTF, it's doubtful the gaps will be huge as it is a fairlyshallow climb that kicks up with about 4 kms to go. Their will be gaps though for sure.
The Favourites:
A.Schleck I.Anton D.Cunego R.Uran
Almost immediately into the stage we have the KOTM points on offer and we breakaway with Silin and take the 16 points.
Silin drops back into the peleton, as Guardini as manged to tag onto the main bunch as we have an Intermediate sprint on the base of the next climb.
Guardini attacks 5 kms before the sprint.
And Guardini takes the Intermediate sprint, he will now drop back as we have a big climb to come.
Frank, De Marchi and M.Matthews have broken away.
Frank takes the KOTM points, 16 points.
4'10" the gap with 55 kms to go.
De Marchi takes the Intermediate sprint ahead of Frank and Matthews.
30 kms to go for the escapee's and the gap is 2'44".
Ive pulled Kangert and Vanotti out they are not in good enough shape, they will ride Pais Basque now as they build up for the Giro.
20 kms to go and the gap is 2'10.
13 kms to go and Frank takes the final KOTM points ahead of Matthews. Their is the peleton 55 seconds the gap this is when it gets alot steeper.
And Frank is caught, he may be the new leader of the KOTM today.
CUNEGO and SCHLECK ATTACK.
4 kms to go and Brajkovic is riding tempo.
2.3 for the leaders and the race leader is so strong he is cracking Andy Schleck.
Cunego wins the stage.
Brajkovic is sprinting, can he get 3rd and some bonus seconds.
Great result for Brajkovic.

Cancellara Boonen
Ballan Flecha
Chavanel Pozzato
Hushovd Terpstra Boom
Breschel Eisel Vanmarke
We have sent Bazayev in the break today.
Is this a new star in the making on the Cobbles perhaps?, Phinney for BMC brings Bazayev and the break back together.
Bazayev as broke away again he is with Madrzo, Capecchi, Novikov, Pauriol and Le Mevel we have 2 minutes on the Peleton and 55 seconds on a group in between containing Koren, Bilbao(Next Roubaix winner lmao) and two others.
Cancellara as his team on the front keeping him out of trouble.
We have 3 minutes advantage with 83 kms left, Hoste is a big name that is in this group, Bak and Hayman are also here, Bazayev is doing super.
Bazayev keeps losing contact on the hills, 67 kms to go.
Bazayev is in group 3 1'20" behind the leaders, the Cancellara group is 3'47" behind the Hayman group with 50 kms to go.
3'25" the gap between Cancellara and Hoste's group, Boonen is in with Cancellara. Their is just 32 kms to go it is hammering it down with rain.
The gap is still big 2'17" with 17 kms to go go, Scheirlinckx has got a 17 second advantage on Hoste and the rest of the breakaway, surely too early?
Ballan attacks, this is what they must do to bridge 1'30 plus in 10 kms.
5.5 to go for Hoste, now or never, he as had to ATTACK hard. Breschel has bridged to the break and Ballan is bringing Boonen and Cancellara back to the escapee's.
Hoste has 33 seconds with 3 kms left.
1 km to go and surely heartbreak for Hoste with Boonen chasing him down.
Hoste is passed with 600 metres to go, and Cancellara is about to take a hatrick of wins in Harelbecke and beat Boonen in the sprint.
Cancellara, Boonen and Chavanel the top 3

@ Sutty, i know its so hard with my team, they are really bad in cobbles, i may take Iglinsky to Flanders though.
But do you think i need to really try and get a Cobble man. I think Chavanel is out of conract but he is nearly 33, he would be ok for 1 season though. Im having a major overhaul of the team at the end of the season.
Another GT/Climber is what i want and a Cobble rider should be the aim dont you think? I will tell you soon who, but 2 french climbers who shone at the TDF are out of contract at the end of the season, i hope they dont sign lol.

Volta Ciclista a Catalunya stage 5
We will work hard to keep Brajkovic high up in GC, we are also in the hunt for the KOTM, but we will not use energy up to claim it on a stage like today. Can anyone stop Cunego he even came 7th on a flat stage the guy is really dominating Catalunya.
The Favourites:
Schleck Cunego Visconti
Julian Dean takes the Intermediate sprint points for the first checkpoint. This is a 14 man break that has 3 minutes.
Selvaggi beats Frank to the line on the KOTM sprint.
The final Intermediate sprint is won by K.Fernandez, 85 kms left 5'36" the gap.
Bulgac reaches the top of the mountain and takes 10 points, 6'49 is the gap the break has a good chance today of staying clear with 72 kms to go.
50 kms to go and the break is 7'30" ahead.
35 kms to go and Silin was protecting Brajkovic really well but he goes pop, the gap is 6'26"
Sorry guys i had it on x8 and just missed the guys going over the line, i got a screen though.
Fernandez, Cardoso and Dean the top 3.
4 kms left and Brajkovic is stringing it out, their will be no time gaps today for the GC men.
Rojas leads the Peleton over the line.

Volta Ciclista A Catalunya stage 6
Today we pray to god Cunego wins the stage as Visconti is only 8 seconds down on Brajkovic, we have to keep on our guard as this is the final meaningful GC stage.
The Favourites:
Rojas Freire Cunego Visconti
Aguilar is trying to breakaway and takes 3 bonus seconds at the Intermediate.
Silin attacks and Brajkovic counters as he is 1.8 away from the KOTM and he can gain 12 points to tie with Cunego if he wins both sprints.
Brajkovic takes 6 points.
Bozic is riding on the front for Astana.
60 kms to go and their is no breakaway today we have really worked hard to keep it together, Loyd wins the Intermediate sprint uncontested, his Lampre teamates take 2nd and 3rd.
Their is 24 kms till the final KOTM check and as it is downhill to the finish we should be able to take the sprint if no 1 attacks, but we need Cunego to not score.
Silin is protecting Brajkovic, 8 kms to the top.
Brajkovic attacks.
And takes the 6 points, level with Cunego now.
Cummings has gone on the attack, the peleton is still huge all my Astana riders our here except Bozic who kept it together on the front today.
Gavazzi attacks 14 kms to go.
5 kms for Cummings and he is 1'12 ahead of Gavazzi.
1.5 to Cummings and he is still 1'02" ahead of Gavazzi
Cummings wins the stage.
Gavazzi 2nd
Cunego leads the peleton over the line for 4th ahead of Visconti.

That was a Good ride from Gavazzi
As for your team a cobbled rider would be a Good idea and another GT specialist would certainly be a Great addition |

The race will surely be Boonen's to lose, yet you cant rule Cancellara out.If Sagan and Greipel get to a sprint finish, they will surely win.

Volta Ciclista a Catalunya stage 7
The final stage of Catalunya is a flat stage, so far we are 3rd in GC with Brajkovic. We have had 2 podiums a 3rd from Brajkovic and a 2nd from Gavazzi, multiple top 10's and we are joint leaders of the KOTM. So although no big win if we can get the KOTM today that would cap off a very respectable week.
The favourite would have to be Alan Davis who as won 2 stages so far in Catalunya, Rojas or Guardini should be close today.
Ok the stage is underway we plan on keeping it all together so Brajkovic gets the KOTM points.
Mortensen is 1st through the Intermediate sprint.
Fischer of Liquigas takes the next Intermediate ahead of Freire and Geslin.
Brajkovic attacks with 5 kms to the KOTM banner, their is 3 riders a minute up the road but with 1 point for 4th. Brajko can do this.
Brajkovic is the KOTM winner of the Volta Catalunya.
The stage win will be difficult now.
20 kms to go and the gap is 1'47" to the break who got away after the KOTM.
Their is a massive crash, the rider i know who is high up that is affected is Pinot. Andy Schleck who is 2nd is also here.
Katusha drilling on the front, we will move up to 2nd today not how we would of wanted to of course.
2.5 to go ad Brajkovic is leading out Gavazzi and Guardini is 3rd man.
Rojas takes a dominant win.
Here come Schleck
Top 10:
GC: Schleck the big loser today , Pinot drops from 4th to 11th.
Points:
KOTM: Brajkovic by 1point
Youth: Pinot can console himself with the White jersey.
