What are peoples opinions on this.
Should Russia still be allowed to participate despite what they are doing in Ukraine?
Mine is if they are breaking International Law and threatening peace in Europe then they should be banned from entering. Eurovision is a music contest with peace in mind.
Im not saying this because Russia let me down for a few quid last year by not finishing in the Top 4

Oh, for heaven's sake. When we were in Iraq, we could enter. When Yugoslavia's civil war was about to start, they were hosting. Based around peace, but you wouldn't know it.

After listening to most of the rehearsals, my favourite songs still stand. Although I have grown to like more, Switzerland, Estonia and Iceland are good.

The only good thing about the UK's entry is that the act is young not a Golden Oldie |

Lets hope that either Country can get some success then as long as there is no political voting |

Well Ukraine are not allowed to vote for Russia but in Crimea you are allowed to vote for Russia.
This is the statement.
As it stands now there are Ukrainian telecom operators active in the Crimea peninsula and it should be so during all the shows next week. We at the EBU are not the ones to change these operators. Therefore Russia can be voted for from Crimea but not from Ukraine.

Oh yeah, this...
The Netherlands has a talented duo, but I don't think the song really fits Eurovision. We'll see. Would be nice to go to the final, at least.

It seems like Malte finally has found their 'sound' in Eurovision with country songs. |

I was in stitches laughing, like really, that takes the award of the most ridiculous song of the contest.
Happy Estonia pulled it off, should get through to the final with that!
