Hushovd says in an interview that if he has a good day and everything works the way it should then he has a chance at winning Milan-SanRemo.
The weather predicition is slightly humid with a good chance of THUNDER!

How hard can it be?

I think he is a bit too late, this fad about vampires, secret societies, and taking blood to make you unbeatable is starting to go away. He should have published it after Twilight. Now people are just done with it. Pity. |

Thinking about whether he'll name names in the book, what are Spain's libel laws like (i.e. how legally vulnerable is he if the people he names decide to sue)?

If they sue it goes to court and the blood bags are DNA tested. If they don't sue they can just deny it and the fans will eat it up.
Who would be stupid enough to sue?

Well, at least that would be something. In the UK, our libel laws are so terrible, there's a high probability people who were named would be able to put in injunctions to either get their names redacted, or to prevent the book being published at all.

Yes, I'm vaguely aware of how extreme UK libel law is.
Rest assured, it's not like that anywhere else in western europe.

You mean UCI has commercial interests in not knowing the owners and sweeping it all under the rug ? |

"I am ready to confess everything to the UCI!"
"Ehh... that's nice, but... we don't think it's nessesary"
"What? But, I know hundreds of names"
"We really don't think there's any need for that."
"But, but... I've got evidence, everything!"
"We believe you, now just please go away!"
"I have blood bags..."
"Shut up, shut up!"
"I want to confess everything!"
"LALALALALLA! I can't hear you! LALALALA!"

Business. The more doping scandals, no matter how big or small, the more cycling's image gets tarnished, the least sponsors they attire, the least money they make, the least their influence gets, etc.
Meanwhile a French deputy I had never heard about (like most, tbh) bumped into a dead drunk Andy Schleck in Munich the day after he had abandoned Tirenno-Adriaticco.
I guess his pelvis problems aren't the only thing bottlenecking his performances these days.
