A live draft would be awesome but very difficult, anyway we could try to do the last round live.
But I guess the best rider in the last round is like uhm... Kirsipuu...

I know but it would be just to try. If you prefer we could try to do it for the next round. |

Nah, I just think that it isn't possible...
We've got people like Jakstar, who live in Australia. Then we got people like Maxime, from the Americas, and we got plenty of people from Europe.
I think it is impossible if you look at the timezones...
So we can try, but not in one of the most important rounds, but also not when it's totally unimportant... (Like round 28 )
Although I wouldn't have problems with round 28, but if the live draft would work, we would have to wait until next season to do it again...

Maxime; do what I did. Get a bunch of riders you want in your team (I got 90 I think), then go through and order them in the order of where you think they'll go in the draft (what round etc) and how important they are for your team, then just submit that whole list. |

What happens if some one miss to send in a draft list? Will they be skipped completely or will they just get a bad rider chosen for them by Manx?

I reckon they should just get the next rider available by average rating.

Welvyn: I think there should be some sort of "punishment" for not being on time. If you just get the best rider available when it's your turn you will still get a decent team without sending in one single draft list. Perhaps the best rider available when all others in the round have gotten their riders.
That way you won't be totally screwed if you miss a deadline, but there will still be an advantage to actually doing the draft...

Maybe the higest average of the teams' home country? Although there has to be a small punishment. Maybe the 3th/4th average ranked available from the home country or something like that?

If you just miss a round i will draft for that team.
I won't "punish" them, but of course it may not be the rider they want.
This becomes more important at later rounds though.
So under 2 hours to go!

The opening round of the draft. A chance for the WT teams to secure a true leader for the coming season. This could set the tone for the rest of the draft, and decide the teams specializations.
Results:
Lierse-Pizza Ullo -----> Phillipe Gilbert
Lunar Industries -----> Mark Cavendish
In-n-Out Joes --------> Peter Sagan
Globant-Telefe -------> Alberto Contador
CC Cafe --------------> Sergio Henao
Tulip-Guinness -------> Chris Froome
Caterham-Austar -----> Bradley Wiggins
ITV ProCycling --------> Andy Schleck
Motorex-Credit Suisse > Fabian Cancellara
Fastweb ---------------> Vincenzo Nibali
SGL-Magix ------------> Andre Greipel
Allianz-BMW ----------> Joaquin Rodriguez
Barrys Maple Leaf ----> Ryder Hesjedal
ING-InBev ------------> Tom Boonen
Pro Team Haier ------> Edvald Boasson-Hagen
Pure Black-Genesys -> Sylvain Chavanel
8 teams got their first choice pick, 8 teams got bumped.
ING-InBev suffered the worst, getting bumped down to their 5th Choice
Alberto Contador was the most popular rider, topping 6 lists, and appearing on 3 others.
The oddest list was submitted by Pure Black.
You can now send me your lists for Round 2.
Dont forget the order is now reversed! So Pure Black are first, and Lierse are last.

Well... You said that I suffered the most... Maybe you're right, but I was just tactical... I mean look: I've got the best or the second best rider of my sponsor nationality. I've got the second best cobbler in the world. And there are plenty of people above me that have worse riders in terms of quality... And I'm even third in the next round. You won't hear me complaining
