You'll draw more riders to the team with a leader of that caliber |

The thing is though there are not too many better caliber riders left out there, so we have to be very shrewd in our business dealings |

If I may suggest something: first focus on a strong climber/hilly rider, then try to find some 2nd row helpers for both Thomas and that climber/hilly rider.
That way you have 2 strong leaders of 2 different types, and multiple decent helpers! |

Ted Mosby also has the ability to be a Leader in the future so we were very lucky in getting him to sign for us |

Following the drafting of Geraint Thomas by Team Cymru Wales, outspoken domestique, Steve Moore hit out at the press while on the way to a team meeting at the Newport Velodrome.
"See, I told you those rumours were hogwash! There was no way that Geraint would ever be anything other than a key potential component of the Team Cymru Wales setup. You just can't stand the sight of the principality standing on it's own two feet and you English...eejit's in the Press want to try anything to stop us."
Initial reaction to the outburst has not been good, with comparisons drawn to the Andy Murray 'anyone playing England' quote at Wimbledon back in 2006. It remains to be seen if this affects team bosses attempts to bring in English riders to the squad but certainly public goodwill on the Bristol side of the Severn bridge is at a monumental low. |

TEAM CYMRU WALES can announce a second major signing in just over 24 hours. They are pleased to welcome British sprinter Ben Swift to the team for next season. Ben is another rider who has made the move to Wales from Team Sky and is relishing the new challenge.
Ben Swift
He went on record as saying ''I was on the phone to Geraint Thomas on Monday night and he persuaded me to come to here, he said the feeling amongst the other riders and the staff was second to none and that with the right direction and funding this team could be going places in a couple of seasons and i should be a part of it''

Thomas and Swift are great names for a continental team, and you have the nationality bonus and everything, this is looking really good!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Well, Thomas was on my shortlist, since he can do pretty much anything, but he should be in this team to be honest

Early on I felt I was doing the same to Garmin. 3 of my first 4 riders! |
