You'd need a stage racer, a puncheur and a sprinter.
The first one that came to my mind is Levarlet. Vanderbiest?
With those transfer fees, my last guess is a random FA: Kiserlovski?

@ Dippofix: I already have a sprinter of debateable quality leaving
@cio: You know my CT planning, and you're not far off. Stage Racer, Puncheur and TTer is the aim. Not Levarlet, and not sure if the Free Agent market will be much fun. Outside Hollister and Sram who is disbanding?
Hoping for the following structure (so it won't happen )
2 Leaders
4 Hilly Sprinters
4 Attacking Domestiques
10 Talents - 2 Climbers, 2 Puncheurs, 2 TTers, 2 Cobblers, 2 Sprinters
Watch me fail |

Well, thanks for the info of Sram disbanding, that was news to me
Without revealing reporters internals, it's very safe to assume Die Berg, Ekspla, JK and Cadbury's. Might be quite a bit more.
Luckily no PT ones this time, it seems.

You know you might be blessed with the chance to loan in a certain hilly sprinter next season?

Good. I always wanted Gasparotto
Demare still annoys me now. Wrote him off as being unaffordable, and ended up with 500,000 spare |

If you call now and order right away, you get a free Gasparotto on top of it!
No seriously, his future is very uncertain.

With PCM13 it seems HIL is more important for Sprinters and I already have Sonnery so it'd be a good investment. Nice source of points under the radar. Wanted to do a team of all talents but that would never work outside the CT. |

Hang on, let me make a list...
The time will come for deals - Dall'Antonia interests me. I figured seeing as things have slowed I would provoke a discussion. But I don't want to break any rules and transfer season may be a while away. |

Thinking about it, how long will it actually be until transfer season? It's in september now(?), so another two or three months?

Transfer season is around beginning December I think. Or somewhere around there. Although, I can't really remember to be honest

Whenever the races are finished, nationals and worlds done, old teams disbanded, new teams accepted, and goals submitted.... The it's transfer time

I doubt that this years transfer season will be in the beginning of December.
It was ~ then last year, but we still have some open races yet and transfers won`t be before those are reported and then some days for renewals as well. |

That suits me. I'm going on a school camping trip where we hike, mountain bike and canoe for 3 weeks. It's like a bonding thing for our grade. I'll be without all electronics for 3 weeks, so no PCMDaily until ~ 3 December
Edit: sorry jph for turning your team thread into a transfer discussion thread !

There is no set date when it starts, and December 2014 is more likely than December 2013
Let's assume we get through the remaining 34 races as fast as through the last 33 (Colombia is a nice trade-off with the Tour).
Then it's 3 months until that is done.
Add another two weeks for the WC and all NC's.
Add at least two weeks for choosing new managers, another 2 for HC race selection and goals, another 2 for renewals.
Assuming no delays in between those and stuff like a new DB or team sponsors to overlap with some of that, that makes 5 months.
Let's be more optimistic and just say it takes as long as it took last season, then it's the time from Paris-Tours until transfers, which was about 3 months.

La Vie Claire talk 2014
After a successful second half of the season the current PCT team Evian-MIAT looks to have all but secured PCT status for 2014. Danilo Napolitano won 3 stages at the Tour of Azerbaijan, the GP Moscow, the Ulaanbaatar GP and the Race Horizon Park and 2 stages at the Baltic Chain Tour helping the team clear the drop zone. But the arrival of La Vie Claire as main sponsors look set to see his departure. Ditto Colombian Climber Jose Serpa after a disappointing season, the highlights being 3rd in Langkawi and Azerbaijan. A leaked document shows the plans for the current riders:
Definitely renewed and not available for transfer:
Blaise Sonnery
Adrien Petit (Looking for loan)
Andrea Guardini (Looking for loan)
Daniel Ricardo Diaz (Looking for loan)
Roy Goldstein
Isaac Bolivar
Mustafa Carsi
Probably renewed and available for transfer:
Jose Serpa
Andreas Landa
Cayetano Sarmiento
Martin Puusepp
Federico Rocchetti
Carlos Alexandre Manarelli
Baasankhuu Myagmarsuren
Tuguldur Tuulhangai
Maani Altanzul
Possibly renewed and available for transfer:
Danilo Napolitano
Not renewed:
Maksym Averin
Marco Brus
Romain Bardet
Jerome Mainard
In terms of targets for replacements there are rumours of targeting a big name leader and a couple of strong riders in other terrains plus talents. The big names mentioned often are Jerome Coppel and Diego Ulissi, with Maxime Monfort, Jeremy Roy, Thibaut Pinot and Igor Anton being mentioned as fall backs. Other rumours include Enrico Gasparotto, Yasmani Martinez and an unnamed potential free agent. Senior management are hoping to get at least two of the names mentioned.
