He's a fantastic player when he has confidence, as evidenced by what he showed at Coventry and now at Bolton. If he can play like that every week for us then he is perfect for our setup as he can hold the ball up and is good in the air. He does seem pretty happy at Bolton though, so I don't know whether he will be on the way out or not. |

Oh yeah. He's brilliant. But Dougie Freedman has said that he's been after him for a long time, and evidently rates him more than the only Spanish manager in the world that will play for draws.

Karanka has the philosophy of making a team hard to score against and therefore hard to beat. Our defence is now superb, we just don't take enough chances but it is a solid base for next season. Can be a bit dull at times though. |

We just can't score. That's the long and short of it. I much preferred Mogga's method of pouring men forward but always having two hold in the centre.

Which was entertaining, but made us so defensively vulnerable that we were really struggling. Karanka is a lot like McLaren in approach, and McLaren is our most successful manager so I can accept it being a bit boring |

But he isn't like McLaren - McLaren's about to get Derby up, and we're mid-table just 5 years on from Premier League. What's more, their approach isn't that similar-McLaren had the gut to throw on players like Maccarone in our biggest matches for years. However, flippin' Strachan is where the problem roots.

Leicester going up, thanks Boro and Bournemouth
Now to try not to completely fail in the Premier League. As long as Nigel Pearson remains as manager, I'm fairly optimistic. I hope we don't sign too many new players though as our current squat has a great understanding of each other. |

Er, I'm sorry but that's Nigel Pearson odds-on for the sack. Steve Clarke doing anything these days?

They've already replaced him with their youth team coach.

Big game in Boro's seemingly existent play-off chase- Reading must lose to Leicester. Wembley here we come!

He was s*** anyways...
No not really but almost. He managed a decent first season - last year. Otherwise this year has been terrible, we have been playing like utter... something. |

Well.. A dream is about to come true. Norwich is so close to relegation and that will bring back some of the Leeds players they stole.. Cellino finally got the permission to buy Leeds and look at the last couple of rounds. One loss against Nottingham but 2 wins.
Oh, and sorry Faillu. It is nothing personal, I just kind of hate the way Norwich took our best players.

Looking forward to this season. Boro have signed a few decent players (Kike, Nsue, Omeruo) with more to hopefully come (Bamford?, Chalobah?, Vossen?, Clayton?) and look like they might have a chance of returning to the Premier League. Plus, Leeds are in a bit of crisis so any success would be even sweeter. |

And Jelle Vossen has arrived on a season long loan. This will be fun to watch as a Boro fan I hope |

Wait, just noticed that Rotherham made it to Championship. Weren't they in League Two only 2-3 years ago? *FIFA career knowledge*. Amazing, anyway.
