They're a mighty strong team indeed. Turft, Durbridge, Meyer... Damn! I might have missed it but do we know the Sky line-up?
I don't see Wiggins riding the WC of TTT. He'll aim to help Cav win the road champioship again. |

I thought Wiggins would not ride TTT or even ITT, but they still can get together a very strong team! |

Wiggo is definantly missing the ITT, so as to help Cavendish in the RR. I haven't heard anything about the TTT though |

Cav won't win the World's mainly because the course is to demanding. |

Cav said he wanted to ride the Worlds as a team-mate. |

Froome, maybe?
They don't really have any top rider for this sort of terrain. Would be very dumb to ride for Cav, although I doubt they're even considering that.

A couple teams could put out some pretty murderous TTT squads. Omega Pharma could roll out some combo Martin, Leipheimer, Grabsch, Rabon, Cataldo, either Velits, Chavanel, Vandewalle, Stybar. BMC could bring Phinney, Pinotti, TJ, Bookwalter, Gilbert and someone. Garmin, of course, can bring Millar, Zabriskie, Navardauskas, and a couple other pieces, and no team has spent more time on their TTTs over the last few years, perfecting them.
I can't see Sky winning if Wiggo doesn't ride... |

I don't know if Martin would want to ride. He might want to save himself instead.

Yeah, potentially. Maybe Tiernan-Locke but they don't really have anyone who can be considered a challenger. |

Any news on whether Contador will receive UCI Points for Saxo Bank yet? Last I heard was that they might change the rules. |

The rule will most likely be changed. The UCI are pathetic, after all.

Well, in this case I don't mind.
I'd hate to see Saxo Bank going under because of this. And Contador deserves the points.
But that's just my opinion, before I get a storm of angry posts here no need to yell or try to convince me otherwise |

I don't think that UCI will be stupid enough to not give the points to Contador. At least, I don't.
[spoil]But they're gonna screw Saxobank. [/spoil] |

There is an argument to be had though, I mean, did this happen to Basso, Vino, even Ricco in his brief return?
I dont really know for sure, but I certainly dont recall it.
I still hope they dont give in to AC. Its a new rule, and I think its meant to have more of an impact with bad teams anyway (the point being, you should think before signing a past doper). A team like Movistar as much as they'd like Valverde's points aren't complaining (as much anyway) as Saxo for obvious reasons.

I'm pretty sure that the rule didn't exist back then. Unless my memory mistakes me, it was brand new when Contador got suspended.
