Cruel? I think 'awesome' is the word you're looking for. |

Dortmund - Real was a great match to watch. Totally deserved win with a great atmosphere.
Didn`t like the Ref (Kassai) as he tend to be for Real Madrid quite a few times. Also he could have given a penalty for Dortmund. |

Micah Richards slagging off Mancini tactics. Oh boy, I love this team at times. Can you call them a ''team'' ?
P.S. I still prefer them to United. Don't kill me CT

Felt really sorry for Celtic last night
They battled so hard through the whole match (defending mainly) and then to lose with 45 seconds left must have been heart breaking
Yeah, thats true, they could have drawn this game.
Barcelona wasn't that good, even Messi wasn't that good in this game.
Although I dislike Celtic a bit, because they were one of the teams that voted Rangers to the Third Division, which ruins the Scottish PL completely.
I know the SPL is not the same without Rangers, but they have to pay the price for what they have done
Uhm... Yeah, but it's not really fair.
Relegating Rangers, because they had a big debt, but what about Real Madrid, Barcelona, ManU and all that other clubs that have (nearly)half a billion of debts... They should use the 'Fair Play' system for everyone or for no one.
My favorite club Feyenoord was in debts too, and after some hard years(even finished 10th and losing 10-0 once) they are almost out of debts now. If they would fully use the Financial Fair play system, then Feyenoord would have much more chance, also in the CL, because clubs like Real & Barça would have to pay their debts first.
But Feyenoord is chanceless in CL right now, because they don't have the big money and they don't have the ability to get themselves in huge debts without consequences. That's maybe one reason that they didn't survive the CL playoffs, because they lost (with bad luck) from the Oil sheiks of Dynamo Kiev.
Okay, I agree this was slightly offtopic, sorry for that
Rangers were relegated because they went bankrupt. I could go into the reasons they went bankrupt, but that's besides the point. The other teams you mention are still able to service their debts (i.e. they keep repayments to the people they owe money too, and those people are confident that will continue)
In fact, they make more debts to pay their former debts, but just wait some time and this will crush. Fifa are pussies, but they are not stupid. They know that they cannot push teams like Barca, however they should.
Arsenal was so poor yesterday, i just hope Wilshere and Sczesny will be fully fit to play soonish. And i dont know why arsene still plays Gervinho as CF, he is complete shite there.
And Wallcott just sits...

What I don't get is how Mancini is still MC's coach. The sheikh spend trillions and the guy has just won an incredibly lucky Premier League and a FA Cup, and keeps failing hard elsewhere, specially in Europe. Guess United fans are very happy with him.

We play the same naive tactics for three years now, just with worse and worse players. Wenger is crazy when he tries to create the new Henry from Gervinho.
He have to either play Giroud or Wallcott there imo. Or rather buy the special striker in January.

The problem with Arsenal isn't just a bit of Wenger (weird players he sometimes want like Chamakh or so) but the owners shipping every single season one of their star players for not too much..
Selling RVP to one of their rivals for some pounds.. They shouldn't have listened to them until they offer them more then 50m for him.
You can sell your best players to Europe, but not to your rivals. That was a gift.
I can't understand why Wenger doesn't try Podolski as the lone striker and lets him play more as a poacher rather than at germans national team the striker like Klose who plays more than a very defensive forward/target man.
Podolski is really dangerous but not on the left wing especially as he tends to be a bit more very offensive rather than a good balance between offense and defense. He can play also good defensive but then he is useless for the offense. He has a good pace, good technique, dribbling, strength and especially a hard and good shot. Why waste this on the left wing where he can't let every of his strengths out..
Wingers have to be at the modern game not just offensive minded but also defensive. Podolski can just manage one of them so he needs to be a striker. He played this position at the youth, at Cologne at both of his periods here and at the WC 2006. After he played on the left wing, he wasn't that good like he was as a striker.

Apparently Arsenal fans at the AGM were pretty angry, not with Wenger but with the board, saying that they are more interested in profits than in buidling a winning team.
It didn't help that at the end one of the board said something like, 'Thanks for showing interest in our affairs.' |

Damn Özil, I wanted Borussia to win. Still, great result for them, this season they're better in Europe than the Bundesliga, and hope they can go far, maybe until the Quarter Finals of the Champions. |
