time to be honest
i am really struggling for motivation with this story
i spent the whole day opening the game, waiting a minute, then closing the game and doing something else

i like the team, i like the whole career, i just dont have the motivation to do the races and write reports

Put simply, i have no emotional connection with the story, and thats what i need...
Same goes for Ladin and Wiles(Smirnoff)

I'm not deleting the save, or saying this is the very end. I may come back to it at some point (but probably not)...

As a result i am going to take a break to set up a brand new story that matters to me. And it will matter for several reasons... just going to take a while to set up...

that makes me half for 5 on story completion

I had the same thing. Unfortunately, PCM in the menu take no time to minimize and just surf the internet instead.

I had the same before. We've probably all been there before.

But now you've learned what you need to get into a story more, so I bet you will be successful in your next story.

You need emotional connection, you're right. Take a break and think about what you really want to do. It's too bad because it was going good, but there's no point in continuing just for the sake of continuing.
Hope you return with an even better story!
