Well, definitely Villa for me
They have brilliant youngsters in Carruthers, Albrighton, Clark, Baker, Gardner & Westwood along the other 2 you mentioned, with those 8 being the best I'd say at Villa, at least IRL. They're young team and fun to play I'd say. Also with Villa going bit tough lately, but 3 years ago trying to get into CL, there's bit of self goals, like in few years try to achieve CL phase or something like that.
West Ham just sounds bit meh. But that's obvious coming from me

I never understoud your love for Villa Alakagom. From those team's, for a challege, maybe West Ham. Altough they both quite a challenge, West Ham sounds a better challenge. |

Mhmm, 1-1.
Have to think about this when I sleep.
Thought about taking Aston Villa and sell Darren Bent and buy one or more midfielders, CM/LM...
Maybe Fulham, not so big history [titles] and a Swede in the squad |

Queens Park Rangers, it shouldn't be too hard to do worst than in real life. |

It is always more interesting to play with someone who could potentially be at risk of relegation IMO. It means that every game is important.
Now in my third season at Chesterfield. I promoted to League 1 in the first season by going through the playoffs. I made it to the playoffs again in my second season but this time I lost in the final (If I had won it would have been the first time that Chesterfield were in the Championship since the 50s). Now in the third season I'm one of the promotion favourites but things got off to a rocky start after I tried to change my tactics a bit too much, meaning that I lost a couple of games quite heavily right off the bat. I've recovered a bit but I'm still struggling to find form. If I can make it to teh playoffs I'll be happy.

I still can't make my mind up which leagues to load and which team to manage.
Everytime there is a point at a career that I think take something diffrent with a diffrent approach and let's see. Might be because it's my first FM as in Germany it's not allowed to be sold thanks to DFB/DFL and EA, but having it since the "Open Beta" I don't know. Everything is easier/less complicated at EA ones but they are heavily bugged since 10+, never doing a new code, the players don't do what you tell them etc.^^
I had a save game with Shamrock Rovers (possibly one of the easiest tasks when you want a easy game as they are way above everyone else with their wage budget of 700k whilst others have around 55k to 150k a year) and lead them to the Champions League (Qualification) Playoffs beating Red Bull Salzburg in the 3rd round.
Had to play against Basel.
Playing away 3-3 conceding a last minute goal and losing 1-5 at home. Weird: They scored 4! goals in 5 minutes from the 40th to 45th minute.. Still can't believe that how on earth that was possible.
Also I have often the problem that the majority of goals I concede are around 70th to 90th minute even though playing with a defensive style.
Alone reaching the Europe League (CL Qualification Playoff "Losers" are going to the Europe League group stage) meant the club can upgrade to the Professional status because they get 2m€.
Also the Irish leagues has got a lot to win (counting out possible continental cups):
Premier League
Munster Cup (only with Cork or regional clubs from Munster)
Senior Cup
League Cup
All-Ireland Cup (Ireland vs. N. Ireland)
I wonder why there isn't a Leinster Cup..
I guess only FC Dallas (MLS obviously) might be able to win more national cups in a year thanks to those Rival cups.
The only leagues I have loaded everytime are:
The Premier League, the Bundesliga (with a DB addon as I wanted to have the Regionalliga and the Oberliga), Ligue 1 (I really don't know why) and an addon that makes it possible to play with Japanese teams (even though thanks to the coding in the game it's a bit weird as the information page is missing etc.) and the regenerated players are mostly young and are bad.
I still never manage to win a game very high. Ok with Shamrock Rovers there are often 2-0 or 4-1, but playing with Bayern against a team that is in the 5th league (the last professional league in Germany is the 3rd) just with 4-0 or so in the Cup whilst normally (real life) it is the double of it as the teams are not that good.
Do you use all of the 3 tactics like it's allowed to prepare for a team?
Or do you take just one formation but 3 diffrent approaches with diffrent roles and settings like playing more defensively or more creative?
Plus how do you prevent that your team tries to double pressure the opponent who has the ball? For example if player X goes over to the wing, either DM plus FB or FB plus CB pressures him and leaving a big fat gap to exploit over conceding a goal. Somehow neither stick to position or standing off does it like I want to

Ok this is on FM11, but i am having the best run of form right now with Bayern Munich
13 games unbeaten, 5 wins in a row. Unbeaten after 15 games in the league having. Olic has scored 17 goals in 14 games, Gomez 5 in the last 5, Montero 7 in his last 3!
Gomez has been in the team of the week for 2 months straight.
Only lost 1 game all season (4-3 super match to Shaktar in ECL).
Beat Bremen 2-1 on opening day, Leverkusen 4-1, Shalke 4-1 and Dortmund 3-0. Also demolished two league 2 teams 7-0 and 8-0 in German Cup.
Hold a 6pt lead over Wolfsburg in 2nd, and 10pt over Leverkusen in 3rd.
Currently just an unstoppable german machine... like a Panzer or the Luftwafe (catastrophic defeat is going to come)

And Munchen & Dortmund are to good so which team should I pick?

Minchengladbach are definitely the best Bundesliga team to play with.
Out of Shalke, Hamburg and Wolfsburg... I'd pick Hannover or Mainz

hmm... you didn´t make it easy for me
Mainz is out of question
Just found out that Leverkusen never won the league?
Neither have Hoffenheim...
Maybe that will be fun trying to win Bundeliga for the first time with one of those...?
And Leverkusen has Hyypiä as assistant manager that´s a plus

If we speak of FM13:
Take the now first Top 10 of the Bundesliga take out HSV and you have your list of teams
So Leverkusen (a pretty good team with 4-2-3-1 like it the most if not Bayern or Dortmund even though I like Cologne and Leverkusen are one of the rivals), Schalke, Frankfurt, Freiburg, Gladbach, Hannover or Mainz.
Hoffenheim is good if you want completely rebuild a squad because they are so hopeless. Wolfsburg and HSV haven't got enough wingers so you might buy some.
With Wolfsburg (backed by VW so.. money is there) you can, with HSV I guess you can't because they haven't enough budget.
Otherwise the 2nd Bundesliga is also worth to look at:
Hertha BSC Berlin (best 2nd league team)
1. FC Köln
1860 Munich (I don't know if it's also at FM13 as my PC is still broken, but there should be an (small) investor, obviously main rivals of Bayern Munich. having the great Allianz Arena as a stadium (but on loan now) and not in the first league since 2004 I guess)

Currently playing as Swansea towards the end of the first season. I'm sitting in 6th place on the table in a fight with Liverpool (who won the Capital One Cup) and Stoke for the Europa League spots. Michu isn't as dominant as he is in real life (I suppose it is because I play him back a bit in midfield rather than attacking midfield) but bringing in Di Santo from Wigan in the pre season really helped a lot (as he can score a goal... unlike every other striker at Swansea).
If I get into Europa League this year, which I certainly hope will be the case as I have a pretty easy run for most of my last games, then next season I am aiming to challenge for the Champions League. That could be optimistic, however.

Seeing as Porto's scouting system has been so praised all over the world over the past 10 years for unearthing so much cheap talent that goes on to be sold for millions, last week there was an interview on TV with one of their top scouts
At one point in the interview he mentions he's also head of portuguese research for FM. And that's when I got emails from 3 different FM addicted friends that said variations on "now I know who to blame for the shit research"
So I got curious, downloaded the FM13 demo (haven't played since CM4...aah the good old days....) and holy lol is it awful. I'm not even going into player attributes, just craploads of basic factual errors in big teams. I didn't even check the small ones, I'm too scared.
According to one of my friends, the errors have been there for years and years, never fixed. I'm gonna go ahead and guess the guy keeps his job on account of the reputation his real life job affords him.

The league calendar rules aren't obeyed, fullbacks are listed as strikers, teams play in wrong stadiums in a completely different part of the country, players on loan are registered as permanent transfers. It goes on and on.
And now I checked the player stats. They're hilarious. Porto's towering beast of a striker is apparently not very strong but quite fast. This is almost as stupid as the german stats used to be (might still be)
Then again I remember being at a friend's place when he was playing 2 years ago and Falcão had 12 for finishing so I'm not actually surprised. I feel sorry for Benfica fans, half their (good) starting squad is rated so crap it starts the demo transfer listed while most of their real life crap players are overrated
But hey, at least I see they finally realized that "Dives into tackles" and "does not dive into tackles" does not mean "fakes penalties" and "does not fake penalties", which was how they used to give it out for many years (result: tiny strikers diving into every tackle and defenders never diving into any tackle lol)
EDIT: I see they're still doing the same thing they always did. Average players are all 11, 12s and 13s. No strengths or weaknesses. And they consider 9 such an unthinkably low stat that you have to look for 1,70m Moutinho's heading stat to find one. Sigh.

I started as Liverpool and finished 7th first season winning Europa League over Hannover. Second Season I finished 5th only a few points of a Champions League spot, won the Europa League on Pens over Lille. In the seaon I left Liverpool then won the Europa League again for a third time, I also won the Super Cup and finished Runners Up.
Then I left and went to Man City and finished 5th win no trophy wins, in my 2nd season I finished 3rd and winning the Europa League over Real Madrid.
Spent half a season at AC Milan before returning to England with Brighton where I stabalised the club in the Championship before moving onto Aston Villa and currently trying to maintain the Premier League status.

Just finished my first season as Swansea. We had the same inexplicable late season decline that the club had in real life these days and I ended up 10th. Thankfully I should have a slightly larger budget next season and can cut some of the dead weight in the team to really patch up some of the weaknesses in the team.

I've played a couple of saves lately, exam's and all hehe. Won Tippeliagen 4 years in a row with SK Brann before leaving to take over Arsenal, won the Europa Leauge the first year in charge of Arsenal(Took over mid-season) and finished 4th on the table. Taking them from a 10th to a 4th place. Then just finished my second season only 6 points behind the MUFC and 4 points behind City.
FM is a fun game in doses, will recommend getting El Shaarawy from Milan early. That guy.
