Ouch Keinath dropping 6 places on that gamble! Hopefully his TT can pull him into the Top 20 and Hacecký is at least sitting nicely in 16th. Not all bad

Cunego is pure class, congratulations to fenian!
Loved to see Machado in the mountains, attacking whenever and whereever. His riding deserves a podium, and he should be able to get it on the final time trial, question is if he can climb to 2nd overall aswell.
Great reports through the whole race, mb, looking forward to one final showdown on the time trial, where Uran hopefully can shine at last, after an unlucky start to the Tour. |

I enjoyed reading that report. It was a good one.
When we got to the final 5k I was starting to get quite worried that Cunego wasn't going to be able to do it.
He did though.
Strong couple of days for Abal too. |

Great reporting - gonna be sooo close now between Martin, Pedraza and Gomez Marchante in the TT. Come on Dan! |

Haha, wow this is going to be a crazy time trial for 5th-7th. I think Martin may take 5th, but I like Gomez Marchante's chances of moving past Pedraza. Just please have a good day!
But what an awesome report that was, very exciting.

Cunego showed those upstarts how it's done. Well done to him and Cafe de Colombia. Machado did a great job to get second as well, whereas Ricco could be disappointed. |

Can't be happy with this race, but at least there is a stage win. And I dont actually get many stage wins, so that's nice.

I expected that. All by all, it's not that bad, but it could have gone better though. Still got 2 stage wins, so that's pretty good.
Also, in the GC you posted, Henao is shown 1 sec in front of Machado, instead of the other way around?

Huh, flip my mental maths is awful clearly. Henao held on.

Once more congrats to fenian, I hope to face you at Le Tour again next year!
Overall very good race for us, Guldhammer with a stage win, Keinath with 2nd place in the time trial and overall 19th, plus 17th for Hacecký. Can't wait to see how Keinath does next season after a bit of training.

Oh so close. Anyway, 3rd place is still better than expected. Attaboy Machado!
Cunego was always going to be unbeatable here and Henao has the home advantage. Got lucky that Ricco wasn't as strong as predicted. Also would have almost impossible to beat Uran under normal circumstances.
Lot's of points were up for grabs here. I wonder what it has done to the overall standings. Is there going to be an update with Colombia and Vattenfall SN?

Yes! 2nd place overall, a stage win, another nice results in some stages, young jersey, 2nd overall in both KOM and points, yellow jersey for a few days.. Amazing.. If I count right - 570 points from this race for my team.. That's absolutely fantastic. Well done Sergio!

I suspect the overall standings will update us on the impending doom for Spyker and Carmuese.
Our boys tried our best, but our best is not good enough in this company. If we do promote we are going to have to think about our team strategy in races like these.
An entertaining race though with a home hero against two Grand Tour champions, with the excellent Machado mixing it up with them.

The goal was a top 10. I would have gotten that if Serpa didn't lose those 2'30 or so, but after that 11th is decent. Also good stageresult here from Morabito, though I'm a bit dissapointed he didn't chase mountain jersey after he was in a perfect position to do so.

I want Dekker, Reimer and Teklehaimanot. You can have Contador...
Oh, and please release Jakob Fuglsang, so he can have some serious stat increase.

That was another very good chrono performance from Cunego - only a second slower than Abal.
Our home race was kind to us - I hope it can secure sponsorship for the PT again next year.
Thanks for the reports too, mb. I lenjoyed the criticisms/jokes you've been throwing in there.
