I don't think he meant that as a real argument |

But there is some truth in what he said, Cav is really not a sportsmanlike rider.
And Cav is widely disliked for that.

Great news that Euskaltel isn't folding. The article is interesting beyond this though, it says that the team is separating from the Fundación Euskadi, and that the team's budget is increasing to 9 million. So I guess the rumours in the pre-season about Euskaltel going international may be right after all.

Apparently Hushovd is dropping Tour de France this year... He is still troubled with the virus infection he had during the spring season. He is racing the Tour de Pologne instead.
Shut up legs, and do as I tell you!

Too bad Hushovd won't be in TDF, he did so great last year, it was a joy watching him. |

To me it's a blessing in disguise. Last year the commentators (and media in general) were banging on about Hushovd and Hagen without interruption. Now they can hopefully focus on the race.

Yeah, but as he still had the virus when he rode the giro he doesn't have enough "basic training" to ride a three week tour. And I think he'll focus on the Olympics this year, so pushing yourself through three hard week probably won't do him any good for the olympics afterwards :/

I'd rather have a good Hushovd at olympics then a bad one at tour and an even worse one at olympics.
He made the right choice. |

Voigt is so awesome, that even if he was a black, jewish, gay communinst, hitler would still love him.
How hard can it be?

You say cav focusses on the tdf and has never won it, but he got the green jersey last year, and what more can he do as a sprinter
I am not saying this, someone other was. I also think it is nonsense, Cavendish is focusing on big variety of races and is/was successful in many of them. My problem with him is his arrogance and unsportmanship actions, but this should have not been disscused here
