I think that would be Great business by Riis
He would get more joy out of Contador than he would out of the misery brothers |

We never know, Froome could do well at the tour, but have his dreams crushed because he has to help Wiggins so leaves sky to be leader of another team |

That's a fair bit of talent off contract for Sky.

Hmm, why do you say that Löfkvist is likely to leave? I interviewed him in late April, and that wasn't exactly what he was saying himself. |

Tbh, most of that talent is getting wasted. Some of those riders don't even get a chance to lead the team in any race of note.

I know, a rider like Apollonio would be interesting to see as the main sprinter (or one of the main sprinters) of a team to see what he would be able to do. And Rogers and inparticular Lofkvist, could be used better somewhere else. Still, I think Sky would like to keep them.

Dowsett, Nordhaug and Zandio will stay. Wiggo admires Zandio. Dowsett has great potential and Nordhaug is quite obvious with training they are giving to him.
And the ones leaving :
Hunt and Barry aren't getting younger unfortunately
Appollonio is a nice talent, but did he shown enough at Sky to warrant his stay ? Sky has some target on other Italians talents I am sure, and offloading Appo might be necessary.
Thomas Lofkvist, produced Sky best Tour result to date. Except that, I am glad he's leaving. Had so much talent coming to Sky and leaves without showing much for his 3 years here.
Rogers, well great stage racer. But he is past his best. He might be lead to GE and become leader there, while at Sky he will not.
Basically, all of them can be replaced for better riders. However harsh that sounds.
Ember, some people at Sky hinted that he will not be offered a new contract. We'll see but it's much better for him to leave anyway.

Appollonio won't get a look in at the big events whilst Cavendish is there (imo) |

Hunt may end up at Endura or retire, ditto Barry with Spidertech or maybe Greenedge. Appollonio could go to an Italian team, or maybe to a team needing a decent sprinter. Lofkvist has done very little, and Rogers has no leadership prospects at Sky, really. I expect him to end up at Greenedge. |

Fair enough. Do you think Sky would ever sign Betancourt?

That's very interesting one. At this moment in time no.
He's very likely to join an Italian team, and most probably Liquigas as you said.
With Uran and Henao Sky already has 2 great talents in Colombians. If Uran leaves though, anything can happen.
Sky so far hasn't been linked to anyone in particular though. Around 6/7/8 names might come though. JTL is a definite. Other than that, pretty unknown. Also Sky had a training base at Giro looking at young Italian prospects.

They showed an interest in Jonathan Tiernan-Locke earlier this season but that seems to have gone quiet now |

They'll sign him. I am sure of this. Sky overall kept quiet about their transfers so far if you noticed

If anyone is interested, now is the time to make a Scandinavian powerhouse - Fuglsang, Breschel, C. A. Sørensen, Nordhaug, Löfkvist, among others, are all up for grabs, as it looks now.
I spoke with Breschel today, and while he didn't want to say anything regarding his future contract, he did say he felt confident of riding in 2013 Wasn't something to worry about, he said. |

Dream on Mike, dream on
Although by the looks of things if you're already talking to well know pros, in few year's time you might even a managed cycling team You even has some experience in struggling to survive in fantasy cycling man-game. That has to be some good experience for your CV ( JK )
Would be nice to see Breschel at Saxo. Riding at Rabobank is too dangerous anyway
