Great reporting, Smowz!

Even as a team not involved in this race, it was great to follow as there was action in every stage. Congratulations to all stage and jersey winners!

Thanks for all the positive comments, I am not sure the quality of the reports was up there with my best. But certainly it was a ball racing this one, particularly as Jayco Red Bull did nicely (despite Gadret's crashes).

I simply have to feel sorry for Ferrari here, they were the team that worked their butt off in the mountains. They were scantly rewarded with riders tumbling down the GC.

VolksWagen and Red Bull really are setting their stall out early for a possible promotion push, I am guessing the only two teams within reach of the all conquering Rapha Condor at the moment.

Corsica International is in the pipelines, that provides a contrast with it being only 3 stages I expect the field to be top class hence why Red Bull are not there Pfft
