Whether he makes a comeback or not is really irrelevant right now. The most important thing is that he keeps recovering until a point where he's able to live a normal life again, and those are encouraging news for this.
Mentally, he's back to normal. It's just the body that isn't following yet. But according to his wife, he's getting better and better every day. From what i've read, he should indeed be able to lead a normal life again.
Yeah, I know. I meant that it's much more important that he fully recovers from his injuries than whether he'll be able to take part in pro races again. Once he's recovered, which I hope will be soon, we'll know.
On a morning show over here, when the sports reporter does his thing in the background is a GreenEDGE jersey, or something of the like. It's white and has the green/yellow aroow logo thingy across it, and the logo smaller on the top left hand side. It's very basic. It could also be a polo shirt or something.
And I suspect Geox (the sponsor) will retort with that fact that the team promised that they'd be in the top flight of cycling, and they still probably won't be. Or something like that!
Apparently Geox have now pulled the plug on the sponsorship deal.
Cyclingnews updated their newspost:
The team later confirmed that Geox will cease its sponsorship at the end of the year, but the team's management company could appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport for compensation from the shoe-maker..

But they won the Vuelta! With a rider that has a Lance-like comeback story! Surely there's nothing fishy that would stop them from staying?
So who wants to bet the sponsor got word Cobo's A sample was positive and we're waiting for the B?
Nah, just kidding. He wouldn't have signed a new contract if that was the case

I have a message for you, Mr. Gianetti:
That's basically it, yeah. The guy nearly died from his doping habits and yet it seems to have not made a lick of difference. He's still a jackass.
