No drama luckily in that last stage and I am very happy with this win. Pluchkin is going to be even more important this season than ever, so it's vital he takes full marks from his race days and he has done so far now.

Hopefully it carries on like this with him competing for the win in the races he attends. It's his third year on the ProTour and his second GC win, but it's been pretty rare having him up there fighting for the GC win most of the time, so this is indeed a very good start.

Close call though, but seems Pluchkin still has the upper hand on Uran Wink

Yes - good win that for Pluchkin.

Shame Castaneda didn't get dragged through for second on that final stage.

Great leadout and work from the team, but Van Heerden has to do better when he gets put in that kind of position.

Phew! A bit lucky there with the point competition, when the "right" riders collected points. Meyer really went backwards during the sprint, it was just not flat enough for him.

Uran always seems to come 2nd and 3rd in these one week Stage Races - Im sure he lost the similarly profiled Deutschland Tour by just seconds aswell. At least he got the Mountain stage.

Lavoine was perfectly placed, and for a moment he seemed to be sprinting for top 3, but faded in the end. Still he looked fairly strong in this race, and with some better help he might be a good card in this season.

5th in the Sprinting competition, 3rd mountains and 12th GC is alright looking at the lineup I formed here. The TTT was the big dissapointment for me, but in the overall I'm happy with one stagewin, and an almost for Serpa. Well done team.

Some decent results by Pedersen, Devolder's performance was somewhat acceptable, I guess.
