Martin had 20s back and won by 13s to him today I think. Plus the bonus times. Very close for sure. |

Deserved race lead for Martin. He was the strongest today.
I'm also very happy to see Fredrik Kessiakoff up there!

Brilliant riding from Dan Martin. It didnt seems like the route would be hard enough for him this year, but he kept pushing and pushing and got it, very well done. Could Sagan get bonus seconds tomorrow though?
Also, nice to see Kennaugh sticking in there well, and that big last km move from Cummings

Poor Poels, second time this season he came so close to a WT stage win only to be outdone in the last 100 meters.
In the Tirreno Gilbert, now Martin.
No luck at all this guy. Also had to quit the Tour early because of an illness. Would have loved to see what he could have done.
Oh well, Poels will be fine in the Vuelta I guess maybe he can grab a stage there |

Henrich Haussler took the Intermediate Sprint Point ahead of Peter Sagan and Marco Marcatto. Liquigas had been driving a hard pace to keep the breakaway in position for "the catch" before the Intermediate Sprint Point.
I would venture to say Liquigas are interested in getting Sagan high up in the Sprints to try and grab as much of the bonus time as they can on Daniel Martin and Marco Marcato.
(Or at least that is how I think it went down. Got Polish commentary from TVP's stream due to lack of Eurosport coverage in Australia, so bit confusing at times for me)

That was definately the most entertaining intermediate sprint I've seen |

I just hope that Sagan or Marcato canĀ“t make a top-three in the final sprint now

That was great bike handling by Sagan as well! Not easy to stay on the bike at 70km/h with a plastic hand in your face while trying to get round the corner.

Liquigas worked hard to set that one up for him. Looks like Peter Sagan may just take this year's Tour of Poland after all. Need to see where Daniel Martin finished, but my gut feeling is Sagan could have the time he needs to win from his placing in the sprints. |

I liked the synchronized fist-pumping of Kittel and Sagan |

Took a break from Volta a Portugal to watch the finale... our commentator calls Sagan Slovenian more than 10 times... So I didn't watch till the end.
Deserved for him. Now he'll beat Hushovd in Kobenhavn. |

Shame for Martin, so close to defending the title despite the organisers completely removing 'his' stage.

Peter Sagan wins by five seconds over Daniel Martin, and by seven seconds over Marco Marcato. |
