for me one thing is sure: Sastre will not be able to follow with, let's say the 50 best climbers...

I'm also curious to see what Antón can do today. He has, just like Menchov, been completely invisible so far, but has stayed in the front group in all stages. I think he will be up there today.

I have the feeling that Menchov will go kaput and lose truckloads of time in the Crostis+Zoncolan stage. I hope he doesn't, because for some reason he's my favorite GT rider, but with Menchov is so hard to tell whether he's really good and into the race or just rolling around. But Antón is intersting indeed. I guess soon we'll know whether he sticks to his words and just goes for a stage or, as I suspect, he tries and goes for a good GC. |

You guys think Lövkvist can keep it together for a full Giro and contend for a top10? |

He can finish in the top-10, although I think he has to be in the best shape ever. And I think today we can see how he is, if he can stay with the best. |

How is the general opinion on Garzelli? Getting too old?
Personally, I'm hoping for a veteran-sensation from the guy. Always liked him, as a rider.

Well, from what I've been hearing the general opinion of Garzelli is a stage win is possible, but the overall is not possible.
I'm going for Nibali today, just because he has motivation. Then again, he will be the marked man.

huh, Lastras in the break. I didn't expect the bunch to let him go, he's quite high in the GC, I don't know exactly but I think about 30 seconds down on Weening. |

Di Luca tried an attack today but the peloton brought him back. Nice try. |

I'm getting rather tired of Eurosport Player. As Eurosport is not a part of my tv package, I have to use the web player. It's been extremely unstable ever since the beginning of the Giro, though. It tends to work for 10 minutes, and when it decides to buffer, it just stops working. Changing the quality of the stream (higher or lower, doesn't matter) will make it start instantly, but if you, like me, has the laptop attached to the television, it's a bit annoying.
In addition to this, it automatically logs you off every 30-40 minutes. You can't just log in again - that doesn't work. You have to close the browser and enter the page again.
I've been able to live with this so far, but when I saw that today's broadcast won't start until 15:45 ... they are pushing my limit
It seems that they are working on fixing the technical problems, though. They have a news item up saying that they are experiencing some problems. Clicking the item directs you to the TV page, though...
TV 2 Norge (and Gazzetta's live stream), you've been a good friend in all this mess.

When is the stage expected to end? I have to go at 17:00 and it would suck to miss the end of the stage. |

Interesting tid-bit from The Inner Ring-blog:
In order to give the riders a maximum of recovery before today's stage, Liquigas transferred their key riders to the hotel in a chopper. |

Not looking good for you then.
The time table lists three possible times: 17:00, 17:14 and 17:29 (depending on the average speed, obviously). |

It was a seriously quick first hour so it might be quicker than that

You're right. I just checked - they are 16 minutes ahead of the fastest time right now. |

TV2 Sumo is genius, you can watch all the major races from the last two seasons, anytime you want, even all the TdF and Vuelta stages from last year. |
