Whoo, 3 "victories" of sorts today. Turkish and San Marino! Now then, who wants to loan the Turkish Nat. Champ...? |

Smukulis bringing in n°2. Happy with that. Disappointed to miss out on the Lithuanian NC though (and Italian/Luxembourgian ).

Smowz, Nechita doesn't need to search for a new contract next year. He's a JW rider even though I'll probably need a CT team to loan him for another development year.

Funnily enough, I did exactly the same thing, after adding him to my Shortlist x)

Ah well, I still have 39 other riders on it. Now watch me get none of them. |

Sorry about that alex didn't notice.
Nechita is certainly a pretty good little TT rider with some good potential. Whatever happens if one was to get him the custom jersey he would add colour to your team if nothing else.
His value is probably as a rouler and team time trial teammate - he looks short of climbing ability meaning he is unlikely to figure on GC's. Protour teams seem to be packed full of such time trial specialists and are always looking for one on the cheap!
I know that SN has been desperately searching for some TTT events for the CTour but there really is not going to be many.
One piece of advice new managers don't let some nefarious protour manager get you to pay to train these types of riders, get something out of the deal if you loan him.

Yes, Nechita isn't that really good, but he should bring some distinctive jerseys every year since he is clearly the strongest Romanian rider out there.
I think when he will be maxed out he will be like 76 TT, which is definitely a good addition to a TT team like Jack Wolfskin.

Well yes, seeing as how you dont have a continental team, youre hardly likely to get any.

I know, that's why they're all nothing special, and are the kind of riders who the Continental Teams will overlook, and the teams in CDiv 2 will be able to sign. Hopefully. |

Aaaahhhh....why wasn't that the kind of race where they just let Summerhill go over the top?
Ho hum...representatives of Danny Summerhill are pushing USA cycling to include a section of pave in next year's US champs. |

useless team tactics, as to be expected really. Shame Barton couldn't hold on. Or Caldwell. Or Phinney and Zabriskie didnt power on. I guess Zabriskie winning the tt was nice to avoid disaster.

There you go. Theres not enough riders for a race in PCM to be held - particularly since theres no real geographical neighbours for Bermuda to be grouped with.
