News in December
Deadpool
It goes in 2011 Shirts and has already been posted.

Its official:

Kim Kirchen wont be racing next year as the doctors still dont know what caused his Heart attack.
Also the fact that he currently has a pace maker implanted would cause him trouble to get a license.
He has no contract anymore and said himself, that he is not going to risk it... Sad

Armando Borrajo, older brother of Anibal and Alejandro Borrajo (the latter a big name on the US racing scene, both ride for Jamis), committed suicide shortly after being released after being kidnapped for two days. Details are still sketchy, but still really sad.

RIP

Edit: Cyclingnews has the story, I assume others will follow

Wow.

I'd hate to sound uncaring but I really want to know the info on the kidnapping, when it is released, because its basically 90% of the story but...

RIP

That's horrific. RIP.

Don't know if it's been posted but apparently Landis wore a video wire when he went to Ball's appartment and showed him with HGH and stuff inside his fridge.
Cyclingweekly also reckon that this shows that Pena (which I don't have an issue with) doped in helping Armstrong win a tour but also that Tyler Farrar doped in doing the same, despite the fact that he's never ridden for Armstrong or Rock Racing.

Their article says Tyler Hamilton now, must have been an accidental mixup in terms of Farrar

Would be great to have Ball prisoned (if possible).

...and many other good riders.
This is just shit and not the best way to end a great career for McEwen. Anyone information about him now? Normally he is quite active on Twitter.
Are there already contacts to other smaller teams or was this it?

So close before the new season, i doubt any of them will find a good team, if a team at all.

Can't say I'm surprised.

It's a shame for the riders, though. Hopefully, some teams still have a few spots available.

Update on that Borrajo thing. I've been looking around, but information is hard to come by. Apparently he was running for vice-president of the Argentine Cycling Association, and was on a trip up to the north of the country to give a presentation. He did not arrive home when he told his family he would, and wound up arriving a day or two later in really bad physical condition (who kidnapped him, why, and how/why he got released I cannot find any info on). He was in really bad condition both physically and mentally for the next day or so, and finally took his own life by jumping from a neighbors window (his brother Alejandro broke his arm trying to stop him).

I'll pass along any more info I run into.
