After I installed the 1.0.4.2 patch my scouting section doesn't work.. instead of showing the regios all I get is purple squares and if I press one of them the game stops working..
Any ideas?
Reinstall the whole thing? |

Sounds like you've copied over the pcmdaily local.
Use the one attached and see if it makes a difference.
EDIT - Rename it simply "local". For some reason when uploading it adds _2 to the name.

Yes - I realized that a bit after posting it. The changelog was the same as the earlier patch.
Probably the differences I experienced at Lombardia were to do with it being career play as opposed to single race mode. Having said that I mostly only play hilly / mountain stages in a career and the ones I played the last few days really broke the pack apart. We'll see how it goes in the new season. |

Unfortunately there is no way to delete the auto-update.
Or I just don`t know one.
Quite strange i go into the game folder - autorun - exe - right click on autorun and it says that i have version 1.0.0.0
I am total sure i have updated to newer pathces. |

You were asked to double click PCM.exe, not the Autorun.exe. |

On my computer, it's C:\Program Files (x86)\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2010\PCM.exe
If you can't find it, simply search. |

Found it - but it is called programme on my comp. Anyhow i have version 1.0.3. So as i understand this thread i schould go for the 1.0.4.1 |

In my opinion definitely 1.0.4.1.
The only fix within the 1.0.4.2 is the stopping riders before the line. So a quite rare bug.
With 1.0.4.2 almost no sprint is working for me.

Install 1.0.4.1 from 1.0.0.0. Worked for me. Now the sprints are working again. |

It seems Cyanide or Focus or whoever, have taken down the patch. It no longer asks me if I want to update to 1.0.4.2 anymore.

Didn't it ask you whether you wanted to update to 1.0.4.1? And you had 1.0.4.2? In that case, they made 1.0.4.2 official. |

Ok I have 1.0.4.1. installed.
Last night it asked me if I wanted to install the update to .4.2
And then when I started the game up the next 5 times about an hour - 2.5 hours later all 5 times it never asked me if I wanted to update.
Unfortunately its asking me to update again this morning.
