Fran Contador (brother and agent for Contador) says that Riis saying Contador wants to win 3 GT's in one tour was due to translating issues between Alberto and Riis, and that it is unrealistic.
Contador himself says that is only a dream and he don't know if it can be done, but that he will continue having the dream. He also says that he will most likely ride 2 GTs next year, he don't which ones yet, but it will mean he will start out more slowly in the spring next year. He also says he's trying to get Dani Navarro, Jesus Hernandez and Benjamin Noval into the team, and that he hopes more new riders will also join the team. |

Well, Contador to Riis 'was never going to happen either' so atm, it's a possibility.

If people only had the balls to tell the truth in the beginning we would not have to waste so much time talking about it on this forum. If you ask me the people who were silent are just as complicit as the dopers. |

Any idea what year the rider rode in? I mean could it be a controversial one such as Kev livingston?
Only Hamilton, Zabriskie and Vande Velde have been interviewed by Novitzky and the article states it's not someone who's been to the grand jury. So it's not Hamilton.
Also, Livingston would be insane to testify. He's a very close friend of Armstrong and he's got a very sweet job working at Mellow Johny's. If he talks, Armstrong fires him and he loses an easy, highly paid job and has no prospects of getting much else.
Not to mention he's a very close friend of Lance's so he'll deny everything as long as he can
My money is on VDV. Vaughters told his guys to cooperate fully and VDV has some spare time on his hands. |

From Lane's lawyer:
“We understand that riders may be being offered sweetheart deals to change testimony that they have given in the past, under oath,” Daly said. “The power of the federal government is being abused to pursue dated and discredited allegations, and that’s flat-out wrong, unethical, un-American, and a waste of taxpayer dollars.”
IF LANCE GOEZ 2 JAIL, THE TERROISTS WILL WIN.
This is already sounding stupidly desperate

I thought they were reserving the anti-American argument to discredit anything coming from France.
Now, using it against American people is something new.
But the lawyer is right, they're probably being given candies to all tell the same detailed things, that go along well with what was going on in other teams.
Waste of taxpayer dollars ? I guess the guilty one(s) will have to pay for all the justice expenses caused by their case, at least that's how it's working here. |

Said Haddou underwent surgery for a leg broken in 3 places. His season's obviously over.

And CSF is officially irish. See any irishmen on the team?
It's just a tax thing. Nothing to do with the riders they will or won't sign.

The license is from luxembourg though...
Raz: Since Joachim left, Astana became luxembourgish enemy number one (The schlecks vs. Contador...)

You obviously have not heard the Republicans speak. Whenever someone says something that they disagree with then they call it un-American. But if they agree with you then you are a patriot. |

Vuelta starts next year a month earlier, same for the eneco tour, who will be 6 days instead of 8. <- according to the pre-release of the 2011 calender

Could it actually be Michael Barry? He has some post-tour rest, he has not tested positive before.
This is just plain guessing, but I also suspect that the one doing this does it to cover up his own abuse.

Nah. Barry's been vehemently denying that there was ever any doping at the team......despite all the facts. Heck, despite the fact Floyd has talked about shooting up EPO with Barry.

Are your sure? Do you have a link or something? That'd mean that the Vuelta starts in late July, which would be a suicide, so there must be a mistake somewhere. |
