Thanks but not quite the issue. I'll try to explain better. My team salary max is 700,000 and currently my actual team salary is 687,000. So it will not let me sign any rider for more than 13K since I will go over the limit.
Any ideas?
Edit some of your current riders' salaries down?
Yes, that is the only solution. Despite all the things valverde321 suggested the max. salary cap of this game IS 700,000 and it cannot be altered. You need to lower the contracts of your riders in DYN_contract_cyclist.
BTW: How to alter the career and the salary cap has been answered often yet. You might find such things by using the search (look left).

Thanks for the advice guys. Sadly I won't edit my riders salaries down. It feels like too much cheating. |

If the game has flaws which can be fixed, why should you feel guilty for fixing them.
Just write down the original salaries and change them back after you have done the negotiations. |

You can change the day but that will not reset the results or other stuff what happend already.
Your best bet would be to take the latest weeklysave (which can be found in the weeklysave folder) and put in the normal save folder and load it in the game. |

Have you tried ("Save Database" and then) "Export to cdb" ? |

I thought that it does auto-generate the cyclist id, not?
You have to fill out all columns, even the columns with a checkbox, so either check it or uncheck it. |

You could send me the DB and the text from the error log (a small file in the same folder as my editor), but if it is not related to a special DB or save, I suggest to use the full editor from cyanide instead. |

There was one report that the Daily 2011 DB couldn't be opened with your editor. I didn't test, so I don't know if it's true.
Either way, it sounds a bit weird. |

Not weird if you consider the millions of values you have in your DB. But if it is a general problem with your db, could you attach it so that I can have a look. |

The full editor also crashes on the extraction. Using my saved game, no custom d/b's used, I have added two Derosa frames to STA_TGA in the local CDB, which extracts fine and to STA_equipment_marques & STA_equipment. When I try to extract to the save game CDB, thats when I get the error message.
Also, is it possible to overwrite my local CDB with one from one of the custom D/B's, or will that affect my saved game ? Thx, regards Jaywol. |

According to your description the error might come from the variants. The variant info will be added to the save when you start a career.
About your local cdb question. Why should you do that? The local.cdb is rather important, the countries, and more stuff is in there so it could affect your game experience but not the career save (the content of the file). |

It was just to save me having to edit STA_TGA as all the info would already be there. |

Hi, can you tell me how to modify national team selection, Evans and Rogers always refuses the road race, but this year is on a mountain terrain, so I want them there. |
