I'm looking forward to seeing Anton here, he has been good this year. He was 4th in Fleche and 6th in Liege. And he beat Soler, Mosquera and Contador on a mountain top finish in Castilla y Leon, at a time where Contador was close to top form. If he is in the same form as back then, he should do top 5. |

Yes that should be very good.
Also I'm very glad RadioShack isn't in. |

Me too.
I still get flamed for overrating Anton in the PCM Daily DB. But I'm convinced he'll show in the Vuelta that I was right. |

You also got flamed for Menchov's TT skill on a Danish forum, but luckily, they got wiser after the last Tour TT
Looking forward to Anton in the Vuelta. |

Well when most people only watch 2-3 races a year you can't expect much. Anton has been the only rider to really climb away from Contador all year. |

Maybe if Ruben gave Hesjedal an 85 Mountain it might become his real skill? |

See? I am a goddamn genius.
What did you tell them after the Tour? Ruben was right after all?
Take that pcmgeeks.dk
Anyway, I can remember I once had Hesjedal at 75 hill and 73 climb beginning 2009 and 71 TT
I wasn't that far of with Ryder

Ahhhh, the forgotten Grand Tour
Forgotten? I've been thinking about it the whole Tour.
It's like the sweet excitement of a hooker compared to the dulness of spending three weeks of your summer vacation with the wife.

well if Cav is riding it as he has hinted then he'll clean up in the sprints.
whats the record for grand tour stage wins?
Probably Merckx, 65.
Unless my memory plays tricks on me, Merckx has 64.
Cavendish really seams to lack competition these days. Petacchi, despite being 36 years old and far far from as good as he was at his prime six years ago still manages to be the second fastest sprinter in the Tour...
McEwen is past his prime as well, Bennati is never there, Freire has his recurring injury and Hushovd really isn't a sprinter as much as a classics rider who can keep a high speed for a long enough time to do somewhat good in sprints. Suddenly Cavendish's largest competitors (appart from Petacchi) are Greipel and Farrar. One of which even rides for his own team. And neither of those two are anywhere near what you could call "generational talents". No wonder he seams to dominate.
Hushovd was injured before the Tour, and he didn't have any sprint training in his legs. He is not the pure sprinter he used to be, but he is a better sprinter then what he proved in the TDF.

If Samuel Sanchez will race he will win the Vuelta. Otherwise Dennis Menchov will win

Sanchez won't ride and Menchov won't win (tour took too much out of them both)
Expect a fresher man to win. Anton, F.Schleck, Mosquera, Nibali, etc... |

Yeah Mosquera is my sleeper pick. Anton should do very well but who exactly are the top sprinters? Is Greipel going? |

I've heard that Cavendish is going, and after a not so good TDF - i belive that Greipel is hungry. So my tip is yes
