The observatory we're seeing now is at the top of the Pic do Midi. You climb it by takind a side road off the top of the Tourmalet and climbing for a truckload more kms over a much steeper road, on gravel.

Why are OmegaPharma leading the peloton anyway? Their tactic for today has been pretty weird so far. |

And the stage started so well, with such promise
For a few days now, I've been telling people today's stage is "Disappointment day". As in, before the stage a lot of people would be going "this is going to be awesome" and at the end will be going "that sucked".
Yesterday I believe I called today a waste of a stage, so Its not as if I had my hopes up at all - but for the first 2 climbs, it was interesting.

Sánchez
Sanchez is in the peloton, and with the current pace, there's no way he'll be dropped. |

*Slap*
I know where he is. He's not doing well and there's a chance he'll crack eventually.
Who's your role model for tactics? Bruyneel? Egads your idea of good tactics is boring

There's a chance, but as said, not with this pace.

I think I've been there when I was 6 or something. It's the highest point of the French Pyrénées (not sure whether they're higher on the Spanish side ?).
I'm afraid there won't be much action the favourites group now, and that Armstrong has it in the pocket now. Dad gum it. |

Yeah I know. It's the habit of writing "do", one of the words I write most often (you'll notice it wasn't the only spelling mistake on that post).

Nah, Fédrigo and Cunego can both outsprint him extremely easily.

Hushovd is awesome, as much as anyone dislikes him, if he wins the green jersey it will definitely be deserved

It was some Dutch fellow moderator on Cyanide boards that first used it in front of me I think.
Anyway, back on topic ? |
