Unjust.

We'll. They couldn't do much else. If they make it "legal" to prevent other riders from having a chance of competing with your teammmate, then it will be anarchy.

HAHAHA.

Dean move in on Renshaw's line. You should know that riders protect their line fiercely, especially if the other rider is performing an illegal manoeuvre on him.

Also, did you mean well, because it appears that you said we will completely randomly.

haha go Renshaw. Dean was sitting there purely to niggle at Renshaw and disrupt his lead out. If it worked then Farrar may have won the stage, and yes Renshaw blocked Farrar, but probably was just extremely pissed off at Garmin for screwing up his lead out. Basically Garmin stirred this up on purpose so he should not be kicked out of the tour.

If someone keeps kicking your shins in a football game your going to Zidane them am i right? They don't deserve it but they are asking for it.

Anyway, it was great to see Chabal at the presentations  . He made Andy look like a dwarf.

Yeah but if you go Zidane you get the red card. It doesn't matter if you were provoked. You still can't headbutt and change lanes to cut off the opposition.

I think it's a good thing this sort of behaviour get's punished hard.

If Renshaw's kicked from "Le Tour" then why Julian Dean isn't??

I'm not sure the fight with Dean was the act he got punished for. The move across to block Farrar was extremely dangerous and could have cause a mass crash.

Garmin's lead out just happened to be within half a meter of HTC's? That is total BS!!! They were there to disrupt HTC in the first place, Garmin were asking for it.

A rider who was aggressively moving in on his line.

I have to say that I feel a bit sorry for Renshaw.

Whether it's justified, I don't know. I don't quite see why you're allowed to fight, but not allowed to headbump (both are of course not allowed, but apparently, the sanctions differ a lot).

Oh well, maybe we'll see some less Cavendish domination then Wink

I suspect the issue is more his move on Farrar, actually

I don't think it's the headbutt. That would just have been a heavy fine. The "throw-him-out"-thing is that he swings from the middle of the road and out right in front of Farrar at the ending. Stupid move as Cav would win anyway and now he doesn't got his world class lead out man anymore.

So the "Deviating from the sprinters line" penalty doesn't cut it now. Relegation + large fine.

For those who say fines don't work, make the fine big enough for the rider to feel. Then it'll work Wink

whoever makes these decisions is an idiot. You can't make a decision this big, on an incident so technical in 20 minutes, that is un professional to say the least.

I feel it was over the top though, surely hitting someone with a tyre is worse?

Guido Mukk
out of the race..come on. Yellow card would have been enough..
the rider have suffered 10 stages..don't kick him out like that

HOW"S THAT A CAV'S PROBLEM!?

It's not, I never said either. It was directed at the first post saying that the nowegians were whining about Cav. Imo he's clearly the best sprinter in the peloton, and though the statement might have been misplaced on my part(sorry about that), it was made to show that I don't make excuses for Thor and i don't whine about Cav.
